“We walk.”

“All the way to Santa Monica?” His cynical voice echoed after me, yet I didn’t care to reply. “Are you fucking kidding me? It will take us all night.”

“So you better start walking.”

We walked for two hours before we called Chief, who came to pick us up. We rode back home in silence, with not even Jess saying a word.

Chapter 12

Miles

My eyelids felt heavy while my head was pounding, and my stomach felt like it was on a roller coaster. How could you be sick and hungry at the same time? I assumed that was my punishment for drinking as much as I did last night. Last night. A goofy smile spread on my face at the memory of yesterday. It was perfect. From the moment I picked him up until the moment we parted ways. Andrei turned my body into a mix of emotions: anticipation, excitement, passion, and desire.

Near him, I felt awake and alive. And speaking of awakening, I glanced down at my very hard cock, tenting my silky white pajama trousers.

A shiver ran through my body as I closed my eyes and recalled last night’s events in more detail. I moved my hand slowly from my chest to my abdomen as I remembered Andrei’s strong arms around me. My hand went lower to the image of his lips wrapped around my cock. My hangover was quickly forgotten, as it was my dick that had my full attention.

Painfully hard and aching for relief, I fisted myself and gave my cock a long, slow stroke that made me moan. Closing my eyes again, I tried to imagine how Andrei would do it. He’d probably be more assertive and firmer. He’d start at the tip and slowly slide his hand to my shaft. Oh fuck. I was already soaked with pre-cum. The sloppy sounds of my hand going up and down my shaft, mixed with my moans, filled the room.

Andrei would undoubtedly give my balls the much-needed attention, so I cupped myself, thinking it was his hands holding my jewels. I was already so close. I gave them a small tug as I continued to stroke myself with my right hand, and that’s all it took to send me over the edge. My hips bucked off the bed, and electricity shot through my body as I moaned Andrei’s name through my release. White ribbons of cum covered my stomach before I let go of my cock and let it rest in the small pool of cum I had created on myself.

The heaviness I felt when I woke up was lifted off my shoulders, and the world was now colored in beautiful shades of post-orgasmic pink. Still fuzzy from my orgasm, I kicked my pajama pants to the floor before getting up. Past experience taught me that silk and cum don’t go well together. I reached for the box of tissues on my bedside table and gave myself a fast cleanup before I went to my en suite bathroom and closed the door behind me.

The carefully designed space was my favorite in the house. Papa brought an entire team of designers and architects from France just for my room, and they did a brilliant job. The large glass partition between the stone bath and the rest of the ample bathroom. Gray shades of pebbles were used to create an inspired Zen garden around the stone-carved tub overlooking the garden, while the floor-to-ceiling window allowed the room to be washed with sunlight that warmly painted the walls.

After I washed in the shower, I filled the tub and sank my sore body in the bubbly water. I closed my eyes as I allowed myself to relax and breathe in. Since the beginning of the school year, my body had been in a constant state of being overwhelmed with emotions. Being a senior also applied to my division in equestrianism, and we’d long decided I’d be trying to qualify for the FEI World Equestrian Games. Of course, I still had two years ahead of me as the FEI was held every four years, but the pressure was already felt in the intense training. I spent more time on the back of my horse than ever before, not that I’m complaining, and yet I still felt it wasn’t enough. Because of the added pressure, my parents also insisted I go to see my therapist more times a week. I knew why they were stressed, and yet, I couldn’t stop the irritation I felt toward their worry. I knew my limits, and I was careful now. What happened four years ago won’t happen again.

Although the main reason for my lack of rest and endless excitement was not the sport I’d been happily doing my whole life or the fear of my past repeating itself, but the guy I met barely two weeks ago. I wasn’t a fool. Becoming so obsessed with the idea of someone so fast was… alarming. However, there was nothing I could do or say to stop myself from falling deeper into the sensation of one man, also known as Andrei.

I sank my body deeper, so my head was entirely covered by water. Even under the surface, with my eyes shut and my ears filled with the buzzing sound of voidness, all I could think about was him. I held my breath for a couple more seconds before I pushed myself up. Water spilled from the tub’s edge to the pebbles underneath it as I got up and reached for my towel.

As I dried myself with it, I recited the recipe I planned to cook for Andrei today, coq au vin, a delicacy of chicken cooked slowly in red wine and mushrooms.

After I finished my morning skincare routine, I wrapped the towel around my waist and headed out of the bathroom and back to my room.

“What the hell took you so long?”

Completely taken by surprise, I almost jumped out of my skin at the sight of my best friend spread, almost entirely naked, on my bed. His golden torso was exposed for me to see as he made himself comfortable on my sheets. The tiniest pair of swim shorts known to humanity—and living with Papa taught me a thing or two about tiny swimwear—was pushed low on his hips. Scattered all around him were his supposed clothes. The guy had the tendency to leave his clothes all over the place. And I mean it. Whenever he got undressed, he just left his clothes behind him.

“What on earth are you doing here?” I asked before turning toward my walk-in closet to pick something to wear. Shay-Lee pushed up on his elbows. His eyes followed me around as I picked my clothes.

“You didn’t answer me. What took you so long?”

I loved it when he just dismissed my entirely rational questions to get his irrational ones.

“I took a bath,” I said over my shoulder, more focused on picking the right outfit.

“You’ve been in there for almost an hour.”

I rolled my eyes before I dropped my towel to the floor and slid on my boxers. Being nude around each other was clearly never an issue. “You know my morning skincare has eight steps and takes almost forty minutes,” I answered flatly, like it was the most obvious information out there. Which it was, when you think about the amount of time we spend together.

Putting on a pair of white trousers, I turned to look at him. “So, what are you doing here at”—I stopped to check the clock—“nine in the morning?”

“I came to say hello.”

“I’m serious, Shay-Lee.”

“So am I.” He jumped off the bed and joined me in the closet. Calling it a closet would be an understatement. It was the size of a one-bedroom apartment, if not bigger. What can I say? I share Papa’s love for fashion. I took a step back and allowed him to check my well-folded shirts before he picked one from the pile.
