“Yes, yes, yes,” I chant as I teeter on the edge, ready to free fall into mindless bliss.

He groans against me, the vibrations of his deep voice the final straw.

My body quakes as pleasure explodes from my core and overflows through my body, utterly consuming me until I can feel nothing but endless bliss.

My entire body trembles as wave after wave of pleasure washes through me. But no matter what, Hayden’s grip is unrelenting, ensuring that I don’t get anywhere close to collapsing in a heap on the floor.

It goes on and on, leaving me breathless and gasping for the air I need.

Sweat coats my entire body, the lining of my dress sticking to me as I fight to catch my breath, before coming back to myself.

“Hails.”

Hayden’s whispered plea has my eyelids flying open. I find him sitting on his haunches, his mouth and chin glistening with my release. The sight of it sends another rush of heat to my pussy, and so does the unwavering grip his giant hands have on my hips, holding me up just like he’s been doing unknowingly for weeks now.

Emotions burn my eyes as I stare at him. I fight it, I really do, but it’s too powerful.

“Oh shit,” he gasps the second the tears spill over.

One second, he’s on his knees before me, and the next, I’m in his arms, utterly breaking down.

“Shh, Hails. It’s okay. I’ve got you, baby. I’ve got you.”

No matter how hard I try, I can’t get a grip on my emotions. It’s like something has exploded inside me, and nothing will stop it from continuing to bleed out.

I grip him, using him as a life raft as I lose my grasp on everything I usually have complete control over.

I have no idea how long I cry for, clinging to him like a lifeline, but it doesn’t matter, because he won’t let go. No matter how long it goes on for, I know he’ll be right there holding onto me, supporting me, whispering comforting words in my ear. And knowing that only makes me cry harder.

Everything I’ve ever wanted is right here in my grasp.

In only a few weeks, Hayden has single-handedly given me everything I’d convinced myself didn’t exist for me. And what’s worse—or better, I’m not sure—is that I’m not even sure he’s tried.

HAYDEN

“No,” Hailee complains, her grip on me tightening as I try to slip away.

“I promise, I’m not going anywhere, baby,” I say softly, brushing some hair back from her face.

Her makeup is everywhere from her tears. But it doesn’t matter. She’s the hottest panda I’ve ever seen.

She whimpers, and it fucking kills me.

I don’t know what caused her breakdown after what was hands-down the hottest experience of my life, but I have some ideas.

As much as she avoids talking about it, her past is holding her back.

All of this had everything to do with me talking over her earlier, her fear of not being heard, of being seen as nothing but a weak woman who was being controlled with puppet strings.

That’s not how I am, though. It’s not how I’ll ever be. And she’ll figure that out. In the meantime, I’ll show her exactly how it should be.

She’s the most important person in my life—her voice, her opinions, her everything matters to me. I don’t care how small she deems an issue to be, if it affects her, then it’s important to me, and I’ll listen and support her no matter what.

I just…I just need her to trust me enough to tell me everything.

It’ll happen. I know I’m being selfish.
