“Clean them,” I demand before pushing two digits into his mouth.

His eyes flare with surprise, but he doesn’t push me away; instead, his tongue wraps around my fingers, doing exactly as he’s told.

Desire unfurls inside, sending a rush of heat between my thighs.

Fuck.

We need to get back to the hotel fast.

My chest heaves, my nipples hard and desperate as I slip my fingers free.

The air between us is electric, and I’m about to make it worse. Opening my purse, I curl my fingers around what I have for him before passing it over

His brow furrows, but the second he feels the lace against his fingertips, a laugh erupts.

“Holy shit, Hails.”

I smile up at him as he takes my panties and hotel keycard and stuffs them into his pocket.

He watches me as I take a step back.

It’s the last thing I want to do, but I don’t have another choice.

My cell is vibrating in my purse, alerting me to the arrival of the cars that are going to take us all back to the hotel.

“Out the front in two minutes,” I demand before I turn my back on him and march away as if I’m totally unaffected by everything that just happened.

To my surprise, as I walk toward the stairs that lead to the VIP section, I find everyone descending, led by Rett and Bea. Both of them smirk at me as they pass, but neither says anything. It’s obvious from the mirth in their eyes, though, that they know exactly where Hayden and I just disappeared to.

We all make our way outside, and players begin piling into cars. The first two head off, but there isn’t any sign of Hayden.

Everyone else is accounted for, which is a fucking miracle in itself, but my heart rate picks up that he’s the one missing.

Where the fuck are you?

I close the door on the next car, and as it leaves, tingles skitter down my spine.

Inhaling a deep breath through my nose, I try to pretend that his mere presence doesn’t affect me. There are only a couple of guys loitering now, and they’re probably not paying me any attention, but still.

After a couple of seconds, I spin around, and the second I look up, I find his eyes.

They’re dark, and they do things to me. Dangerous things.

My heart rate picks up, and with the cool evening breeze rushing over me, I’m more aware than ever that I’m not wearing any panties.

“Come on, Marilyn,” someone calls from behind me, forcing his eyes away from mine.

Coldness engulfs me the second I lose his attention, and I have to take a moment to compose myself before joining the last of the guys.

I stand to the side and wait for them to get into the back of the car, achingly aware that Hayden isn’t moving to do the same.

“Go on then,” I encourage, my voice not as commanding as it usually would be.

The way he’s watching me is putting me on edge.

He’s planning something.

“Oh no, ladies first,” he says, smiling at me, My stomach knots and my heart flutters.
