Blaze swings me into his arms, making me giggle. He kisses all over my face as he carries me, bridal style, toward the small house. When he opens the door and steps inside, I gasp.“Blaze…”

It’s adorable.Fresh paint, hardwood floors, and flowers all over the place.Immediately, I can tell that it’s tiny. One front room that doubles as a kitchen and a living room, a door leading to a bedroom, and a door leading to a bathroom. From here, I can see a clawfoot tub that probably dates back a long way.

“They did a good job, didn’t they?”he asks, carrying me around, letting me see everything.

He’s still obnoxious about me walking.Overboard.I think he just likes holding me, so he’s being all overprotective about it and fussy.I don’t mind him keeping me close, so I only protest to be sassy.

After entering the bedroom, he lowers me to my knees on the mattress. The bed is definitely an antique. The mattress is brand new.

“Scoot to the center, baby, but stay on your knees.Face me.”He backs up.

I’m confused, but I do as I’m told, unable to stop grinning. The room is adorable.Whoever decided to fill it with flowers gets a gold star. It’s undergone some serious renovations, I presume, but Haden and his team managed to keep the feel of the nineteen hundreds. Most of the furniture is even older than that.

Blaze leans against the window frame, rubbing his beard, his gaze intense as he stares at me.“You’re so fucking beautiful.”

I blush.I feel as pretty as he says. This dress is gorgeous.I’ve never felt prettier.Arianna did my hair this morning. The front sections are braided and pinned up with baby’s breath tucked into the curls. The rest is down in long spirals.

The ring on my finger is heavy, probably because I’m not used to wearing a giant rock.Blaze took me to the city yesterday to choose it.I let him pick, though.I wanted it to be his decision, and I love it.

He also bought me a dainty diamond necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings.I’ve never worn this much money in my life.

“You better not have anything on under that dress, wife.”

I giggle.“Only one way to find out.”He ordered me not to wear anything but the dress and the white sandals, which we also bought in the city yesterday.

“I’m two seconds from taking that off you, but I’m going to make you put it on another time because you look so radiant in it.It suits you perfectly.”

I can’t stop smiling.

“I should have Tiago paint a portrait of you just like this one day.Maybe standing in front of a window so the light shines through, making you glow.”

I’m choking up now.His voice is so sexy.

When he finally stalks toward me, goosebumps rise on my skin.I hold my breath as he rounds behind me and reaches over to slowly lower the zipper down the back.He kneels on the mattress and kisses my shoulder blades while he lets the material fall around my knees.

“Fuck, you’re sexy.Every inch of you.”

His hands slide down my arms to my fingers.“Drop onto all fours, baby,” he growls.

I do as I’m told.

He climbs off the bed and circles me, scrutinizing me, his gaze burning through me.“Arch your chest, Victoria.Tip your head back and thrust your tits forward.”

Panting, I obey.

“Sexy… Imagine what you will look like in this position nine months from now.”

A whimper escapes me.He’s so cocky and confident.

“Does it scare you, baby?Your body filling with my seed until our baby grows inside you?”

“Yes,” I admit, breathily.

He comes to my face and strokes a finger down my cheek.“Do you know how much I love you?”

“Yes, Sir.”I do.I know it in my soul.

“Do you trust that I will always be by your side, in sickness and in health?”
