"No, for family, too." Ana arched an eyebrow. "We're sisters."

Ely's mouth took on a sassy smile. "They might still renounce us, you know."

"Sooo… should we look into getting you to move here?" Liam's eyes jumped from Ana to Ely on the screen.

"For sure!" Ely's voice was full of conviction. "Eventually we'll just convince our parents to move to LA, too. For now, let's talk options. My resume is a couple years old, since the last time I changed jobs; I'll send it to you. Do you know a lot of people in the not-for-profit world, Liam?"

"Depends what kind of job you'd want. Do you think you could handle a job organizing a social impact department?"

Ely's eyes opened wide. "Oooh, someone you met through your company? What's the vision?"

"Helping connect underprivileged and underrepresented youth and young adults with volunteering, training, and shadowing opportunities within the filming industry." Ana bit the inside of her cheek not to reveal their intentions.

"Are you kidding? That's my area." Ely stopped for a second, her eyes turning dreamy. "Youth and young adults are my favorite population, and creating those opportunities for them would be incredible. Talk about inspiring representation! Social justice and equity work, it just… it'd be brilliant, honestly. It'd be the next step in my career. I can already see it. It could be amazing! Where do I send my resume?"

"I mean, you don't know all the details." A chuckle escaped Ana. "There's also a social media aspect to the job; the social impact side will be showcased within the company, so creating relevant content online— which will have to also add some of the production projects for publicity and to entice participants— managing that will be part of the job."

Ely dismissed it with a shake of her head. "Multitasking and multiple roles are typical in my world. I've done a lot of content creating in the past and you both know I'm comfortable online. Besides, creating content could be shaped to be one of the internships for a youth applicant. I'd probably want to network with someone who handles content creation for social media, to fine tune the profile. I'll create a personal account to lurk around and get exposed to the typical content in the niche, to come to my interview with some good ideas. I can also present a mock up project about how a young participant may shadow a producer or something…"

"That sounds great," Ana said. "I knew you'd rock a job like this one."

"I would, and you both know I don't do false modesty," Ely added. "I think I would be a great fit. Is this someone you met while working on your production company? I know you guys also want to add a social impact side and, really, you should consider doing something like this, when the company finally gets the green light. Anyway, I want to get that job. Do you know what kind of interview process it is? Send me the info so I can prep my resume, cover letter, and interview."

"Okay, you're really into it, aren't you?" Ana asked, a smile breaking on her face.

She looked at Liam to gauge his reaction, and the grin that echoed hers sparked hope inside of her.

"I so am. This would be a great opportunity, even if it weren't in LA with my bestie. So do me a solid and look into how to prep for that interview to max my chances—"

"Send it to admin at Jump Cannon dot film," Liam said.

"You want me to send it to you? Isn't Jump Cannon your company?"

"Yes. We need to document due diligence, but it wouldn't be fair to call for other resumes if they're not likely to compete with you. You have an edge, because we obviously think it's a great idea to work with people you're close with and you really seem incredible for the role."

Ana kissed Liam on the cheek in excitement.

"Excuse me?" Ely asked, confusion clear in her voice.

"Sorry, I didn't even get a chance to explain anything!" Liam continued. "You jumped into it so hard that I have no option but to be in awe at what just happened."

"And whatdidjust happen?" Ely asked. "Because it can't… you can't… I mean—"

"You do it," Liam said to Ana.

"No." Ely insisted. "Are you serious?"

"No?" Liam asked, but there was humor in his voice.

"I mean, yes! Fuck it, just say it. For real?"

"How would you like to work for Jump Cannon, Ely? I told Liam I think you're perfect for the role and wow, you delivered."

"Ely," Liam added, "we want you to apply to the role of Social Impact Manager at Jump Cannon Productions. We really think you'd be the perfect fit. This call had everything I would have wanted to hear from a candidate for the role during an interview, and you hadn't even prepared."

For the first time in Ana's life, Ely didn't fill the space with words right away.

"Ely?"
