"It was inevitable. You let me know you, too."
Chapter Fourteen
WHILE LIAM ORDERED BREAKFAST to their room, Ana texted Ely to vent about Alex.
Ana: did you hear
what Alex did?!!!
He QUIT
Ana: Poor Liam is
furious. I think he's
feeling betrayed
Ely didn't reply right away, so Ana got busy setting up a few things for the day. An hour later, she and Liam sat at the small table in the room, in the same clothes they'd slept in, reading news and social media on their phones.
Ana stopped reading her emails when she saw the notification announcing Ely's text.
Ely: Yeah, he told
me last night. He
left LA already
I think
Ana: did you bite his
head off when he
told you? Pls tell
me you did
Ely: at first, but then
we decided to be
mature and talk it out.
We ended on a good
note, I think
Ana: too bad,
I feel like he
deserves war
Ely: I know you're
exaggerating
"What's going on?" Liam asked. "You're typing furiously."
