“I do,” I say sincerely, seeing my face reflected in the mirrors of his eyes. “I do see myself in your eyes, that’s why I know this is where I’m supposed to be.”

Nicholas’s brows furrow lightly, and his eyes soften for a moment. “You’re mine, Donna,” he breathes before drawing me down, his lips meeting mine. “Mine…” he rasps against my lips, the kiss passionate as he rearranges me on top of him, aligning my core and his cock in the perfect angle. All it takes is for me to slide down to take his cock inside my aching hole, walls opening up like a flower in bloom for its fated mate.

His lips leave mine, only to pepper kisses along my jawline until he reaches my neck. My head tilts, my body flowing in a rhythm of riding his thick shaft while he holds me securely, protectively, possessively as his canines distend with an audible, metallic sound.

My breath catches through my moans, my heart stalling while everything around me slows as if this moment is singled out, and that’s when his sharp canines pierce the flesh surrounding my scent gland. My eyes spring open, and I watch the stars twinkling in the sky, feeling as if I’m soaring with them, my body bursting with the electric sensations that begin from my neck.

It pulses through me while his cock throbs inside me, spreading out my walls. The amalgamation of sensations running through me turns me wild, feral, and my nails bite into Nicholas’s shoulder blades as I hang on for dear life. I don’t know where I end or begin, and once Nicholas has claimed me, I don’t even care anymore. I’m neither here nor there, but wherever Nicholas is.

And right now, he’s deep inside me, rocking my hips in a smooth rhythm that steadily escalates, hands gripping my waist as he commands the movement. Our lips are only an inch apart, our breaths hot against each other, and when I kiss him, I can taste a hint of my blood on his tongue.

The kiss tastes possessive, and I realize I’ve never felt safer than I do now. Every fear that I could have had was overcome with him—from the fear of small spaces to the fear of who I was becoming when I began discovering my powers.

Nicholas has always been my anchor in this world, a pillar of strength that has allowed me to shine brilliantly as the powerful werewolf and witch I was born to be. I’ve discovered my power, but I’ve also discovered his, and it’s to be exactly what I need him to be.

As I continue riding him, his cock swelling even further between my walls, I lift my head to gaze deeply into his eyes.

He stares back, completely smitten, completely fixed on my soul as he cups my face, one hand protectively placed on my neck where he’d claimed me.

“I love you, Donna Rivera,” he whispers warmly, and my lips lift into a smile as I slow down, hands planted on his chest.

“Donna Rivera Bartalow,” I correct him with a sly smirk. “You’re not just my fated mate, but you’re my husband,” I remind him, and his eyes soften.

“Donna Rivera Bartalow…” he repeats, drawing me closer. “You are my everything, my world.”

Our lips meet for a passionate, heartfelt kiss that curls my toes as Nicholas and I reach climax in unison. Our bodies flow together, shuddering as we both come, and his arms wind around me with protectiveness as he allows me to ride out the high.

As my head lies on his shoulder, my lips curl into a smile. I’ve never been happier than I am right now, and it’s all because I belong to Alpha Nicholas Bartalow.

I am his, and he is mine, and nothing will ever come between us again.

Epilogue - Nicholas

One Month Later

The map on the dining table is covered in sticky notes, circles, and highlight markings, but the only thing I’m really focused on is Donna, her hand resting on the gentle swell of her stomach as she leans over the table. The curve is small, delicate, but unmistakable. Seeing it still knocks the wind out of me every time.

My mate, my wife, carrying our pup.

That pride swells my chest.

Donna brushes a strand of hair out of her face as Sean pins another sticky note to the board. “So, the name Merlin Grimes came up again when we cross-referenced the old Golden Tree Sisters coven archives,” he says. “There’s one place in Maine that keeps coming up.”

“Swans Island…” Dominic says, eyes narrowed on the note Sean just added, and Donna and I exchange knowing nods.

“Swans Island is practically abandoned,” Tyler mutters, brows furrowed. “The last census listed twelve residents.”

“Which means the dark lord could be using it as a base,” Delilah adds. She’s standing with Cecelia, who rests both hands on her lower stomach.

Cecelia is pregnant at the same time as Donna, only a few weeks apart. The sight of both of them glowing with life should be heartwarming, except for the reason we’re all still meeting like this.

“We need to scout it,” Dominic says. “If this place is tied to Grimes before he was corrupted, that could give us something to work with. Anything.”

Donna nods, her fingers absently tracing her belly. “It’s the best lead we’ve had in weeks. We have to go.”

I stiffen immediately. “We?”

She looks up, expression flat, already anticipating my reaction. “Yes, Nicholas. We. I’m a witch. My visions are only getting clearer. And I’m not sitting back while everyone else is risking their lives.”
