She’s a mess, and I’m a greedy fucker—consuming her with that same greed the bible warns about. I lap and suck until her body goes limp, leaning into the metal frame, screaming my name into the night sky. I pull back to watch the sated look on Adri’s face, that post nut glow that always made her look ethereal, and I bask in her glory.
“You look beautiful,” I murmur, before placing a kiss on the inside of her thighs. Her muscles go taut, and once again, she squeals. My heart blasts off at the sound, my body feeling airy and ready to take flight. Everything feels so light.
“Only way to shut you up still,” I tease, knowing that her mouth could run for days, but a flick of my tongue will make her speechless and a needy mess. Always did. It’s good to know it still holds. She laughs at that, kicking me playfully. For a moment, I just look at her, my chest feeling like it’s about to burst from all the emotions inside me.
Thankfully, she puts me out of my misery when she whines playfully, “No, my dress is dirty.”
“Well good thing, Don Rogelio can keep the laundry open now.” I lick my lips, still tasting her on my tongue.
She blinks. “Fuck the money… Yael.”
I stop her with a hand, already knowing where she’s going. “I didn’t do it to earn any favors with you. It’s something that I do when the old folks need help. Seriously, just doing the right thing.”
Adri hasn’t been around, so she doesn’t know that I have made it my business to help around the block. Especially with the elders who, like my grandma, were abandoned by their good for nothing families. With that, I offer my hand, helping her get down from the stairs and onto the ground. She fixes her dress, red already staining her cheeks, making her look flushed and nervous.
“Still, it’s a lot of money.”
I shrug. “Money comes and goes.”
Adri laughs softly, fixated on her dress. Her fingers trace the lace trim at the hem. The tension in the air has thinned out into something lighter, almost domestic. This is what I’ve missed the most. This feeling. It's nice. The corner of my mouth lifts into a crooked smile.
“You know,” I grumble, scratching at the nape of my neck. “I’m down for your thirst trap videos, but only if you record them.”
Her pouty lips form an o, her eyes round and full of hesitation. “Oh no. I can’t.”
I nod, not letting her back down from this one. If I’m going to put myself out there, I want to be comfortable, this is too awkward for me to do alone. And even weirder to ask anybody else.
“No,” she mutters with a small tilt of her head, studying me. “You’re serious?”
“As a heart attack,” I say, smirking. “This is a job that only YOU can do.” I make sure to put some emphasis behind the word to let her know just how serious I am. Adri laughs again, a snort escaping her, a tell tale that she’s nervous.
“You’re ridiculous,” she quips.
“Maybe,” I admit, “but you’ll make me look good. And I won’t be as nervous around you. I call that a win.”
She shakes her head, still smiling. “You’re impossible.”
“Nah, I’m right.” I grin, watching her cheeks flush. “You’ll see. We’ll make art out of thirst.”
Adri snorts again, only this time it’s from how hard she’s trying to hold back the urge to laugh.
“C’mon what can go wrong?” I ask, noticing how she stills.
She falls quiet, her features shifting to serious. “Everything.”
Adri looks away, her gaze searching the night sky for answers only she can give. I step closer to her, lowering my voice.
“Why don’t we start small. One video. If it feels wrong, we stop.” Those emerald orbs flick to mine, uncertain but full of curiosity.
“You really think we can pull it off?”
I shrug. “No sé.* I think it’s worth the try.”
Adri nods absentmindedly. “Fine. One video.”
“Deal.”
Two weeks later….
