Couture was still hard enough to fuck me, and I could feel every stroke, but that pressure I had been chasin’ before was gone.

So… I faked it.

I know that shit sound bad, but it wasn’t like Couture never made me cum ‘cause he did. Sometimes he brought my pussy to a real ass orgasm and had me laid out afterward, so it wasn’t like this happened every time we had sex. Tonight was just different.

The harder and faster I tried to ride him, the more it started feelin’ like I was workin’ toward somethin’ my body had already decided it wasn’t gon’ give me.

Eventually, I tightened my thighs around him, buried my face against his neck and gave him enough of a performance for him to believe I finally came.

By then, I was over tryna force it anyway, and I just wanted to enjoy bein’ close to him without turnin’ the shit into somethin’ bigger than it needed to be.

After I faked the orgasm, Couture caressed my back before pullin’ me closer while I was still on top of him. The sexual part of the moment might’ve been over for me, but I still liked bein’ in his arms. I rested against his chest for a minute before liftin’ my head, holdin’ both sides of his face and kissin’ him slow.

“You okay, baby?” Couture asked, still caressin’ my back and ass while he looked up at me.

I smiled and ran my nails through his beard before leanin’ down to kiss him one more time.

“I am,” I assured him, and even though my pussy ain’t get what the hell she wanted tonight, I wasn’t lyin’ about that part.

I kissed Couture again and eventually slid off him, pullin’ the sheet over my body as I settled beside him. He reached for me almost immediately and pulled me against his side, so I laid my head on his chest while his fingers moved slow up and down my arm.

For a while, neither one of us said nothin’. I was comfortable layin’ here with him, and even though my pussy was probably somewhere pissed the fuck off about not gettin’ her nut, the rest of me was content.

Couture had always been affectionate after sex. He wasn’t the type to roll over and go straight to sleep or get up and start movin’ around like I wasn’t here no more. He liked me close, and I liked bein’ close to him too.

His fingers continued caressin’ my arm before he looked down at me. “You ready for me to leave?”

I already knew what he was talkin’ about, and my lips poked out before I could even help it. Couture was leavin’ again in two days for work, and even though I knew what he did when I started dealin’ with him, that ain’t mean I had to like it.

“No,” I admitted as I looked up at him. “I hate when you leave.”

Couture smiled a lil’ before leanin’ down and kissin’ my forehead. “I know, baby, but I ain’t gon’ be gone long this time. Two weeks and I’m right back.”

“Two weeks is still long as hell,” I complained, makin’ him smile again.

“It’s gon’ go by fast,” he assured me while his hand moved down my arm and back up again. “Plus, I got somethin’ for you when I get back.”

That got my attention. I lifted my head from his chest and looked at him. “What you got?”

“If I tell you, it ain’t a surprise,” he reminded me, lookin’ like he had no intentions of givin’ me shit else.

“Well, give me a hint,” I pressed, already knowin’ I wasn’t gon’ leave it alone now that he had brought it up.

Couture shook his head. “Nah. You just gotta wait.”

I narrowed my eyes at him ‘cause I hated when somebody told me they had a surprise for me and then expected me to justgo on about my life like they ain’t say shit. Now I was gon’ spend the next two weeks wonderin’ what the hell he had planned.

“You know I’m gon’ keep askin’ you, right?” I warned him.

“I know,” Couture replied, smilin’ as he pulled me closer. “And I’m still not tellin’ you.”

“Whatever,” I muttered before layin’ my head back against his chest.

Couture laughed and kissed the top of my head, then went right back to caressin’ my arm.

I smiled to myself ‘cause as much as I hated when he left, I loved what he did. He had really built a name for himself cookin’ for people who had enough money to fly his ass wherever they wanted him. Sometimes he was on a yacht or private boat with a client for days, and other times he was in another state cookin’ for some celebrity or rich family who wanted their own chef travelin’ with them. His schedule could be all over the place, but he loved that shit and he was good at it. I respected that about him.

It was also one of the reasons I tried not to complain too much whenever he had to leave. Couture had his own life before me, and I ain’t want no nigga sittin’ around me twenty four hours a day anyway. I just hated that I actually missed him when he was gone.
