He frowns. “The password.”

I groan, wanting to smack my face. Or his. “Are you serious? That’s basic knowledge even fucking kids know. Never write the password down or keep it with the computer. Jesus christ, Nash.”

My brother scoffs. “I didn’t make the password. I can’t remember the shit that Cowen comes up with. It’s like he slammed his hand on the keyboard and called it a day.”

“Yeah, it’s called security so no one can guess it. Not that they would need to since they have this handy dandy note. What is this? Fucking Blue’s Clues?”

Nash flips me off. “Feel better now?”

I snicker, returning back to the laptop and going through the cameras. My eyebrows furrow when I catch what he means. Half of them are turned off manually, ones I know Viper and I definitely set up. I switch them back online and then slide the laptop back to him.

“They were turned off. Let me show you how to check for it and how to turn them on and off.”

He listens carefully as I go through all the steps. Then I flip them all off so he can practice turning them back on. I sit in his chair with crossed arms as I wait, painfully, for him to go through each individual one.

“Have you thought about settling down?” I ask, looking over the office. Anywhere but at him.

Nash freezes in his chair. “Like Gage and Dodge? Old lady and kids?”

I shrug. “Yeah, something like that.”

His jaw works back and forth, and he focuses back on the laptop. “Sometimes, but I ain’t found the woman that makes me want to stop everything else.”

“Everything else being the clubwhores?”

He nods, concentrating hard on the cameras. “Yeah. Why have one pussy for life when you can have multiple?"

“Somtimes it’s really good pussy.”

Nash snorts, glancing at me. “You finally want to settle down with Bri?”

I blink.

Fuck, Bri, I forgot about her again. I’ll have to deal with her eventually.

I shake my head. “Uh, no. I think Bri and I are done for good.”

He lets out a low whistle. “And now you want your next chick, the cop, to be your old lady?”

I ignore his probing on who and shrug. “It doesn't seem so bad. Gage and Dodge are happy. Hell, Shaw has a smile on his grumpy face more often than not.”

My brother turns back to his laptop with a sigh. “Yeah, maybe. I’d need someone who understands my life is the restaurant and the club. That’s a lot of time to not spend at home. What about you? You’re on the road more than you’re home.”

I shrug again. “I’d scale back on runs.”

We both turn at a loud knock, and neither of us can hold back our surprise when Gage walks through the door.

Our president looks between us, eyes narrowing. “Why do y’all look guilty?”

“We’re having a very emotional conversation. You’re ruining our bromance moment.”

Nash groans. “Shut the fuck up. Creed got it in his head that he wants an old lady.”

Gage raises an eyebrow. “The one random you knocked up?”

I scowl, hating Cowen’s annoying self. “Nah, false alarm. She’s not knocked up.” Yet. I realize how much I want it to be true. That’s my first sign that how I feel about Morgan is different. Any other woman, the possibility of pregnancy scares me shitless, being tied to them indefinitely.

But Morgan...I think a baby would make her less skittish. I swear the woman has one foot out of the relationship every day, and it’s not something I’ve experienced before. Even with Bri, she wanted to be with me. She just hated the club.
