“Yes,” Daddy confessed. “I’m not doing it on purpose, but on some level, I pick up on cues you give on things you want or need, and it helps me seduce you.” He started to step away before asking, “Does it make you uncomfortable?”

I considered this, then answered honestly. “Not really. I just wanted to know. And I must admit, it’s improving my mood.”

“That’s good. I like that. I can’t tell you how tempting it was to tear Cheating Asshole’s spine right out of his back.”

At first, I heard that as I might have from any other guy, but Daddy wasn’t any other guy, and I sensed the truth to his words, which was unsettling, to say the least.

“Don’t worry. I won’t do that,” he assured me, picking up on my discomfort. “I suppose I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said without a trace of the look I might have expected from another date—the look that meant he wanted to fuck the hell out of me. Not that I minded, typically, but given all the strangeness around Daddy, I knew I needed to take my time. Not rush anything.

“You said you haven’t seen any movies yet, right?” I asked, and he shook his head.

“Maybe you could come up and we could watchRocky…it’s a great American classic.”

“Rocky?”

“Yeah, and if you’re real good, maybe you can stay over for the second one, but that’s probably as much as I could offer since we can’t sit through all of them. But could be good for you to get acquainted with some of the classics…to help you blend in.”

“That’s a good point,” he said, maybe a little too convincingly, as though we would only watch movies together.

“I didn’t really mean that,” I said. “I was being cute by trying to say that was the reason, but really it’s an excuse to spend more time with you.”

He grinned. “Ah, I’m still adjusting to these nuances, but any excuse to spend more time with you is something I’m interested in.”

“You’re very direct.”

“Probably because you like direct.”

“So weird,” I said. “But it’s sexy, I guess by design.”

“You don’t have to guess. That is—”

“Okay, a little more mystery wouldn’t kill you. And I didn’t mean kill as in—”

“I have heard that expression.”

“Of course you have. I’m just gonna trust that you’ll let me know the ones you don’t get because I sure as hell can’t keep up with all this.”

He didn’t respond, only watched my expression, his lips curled in a pleasant smirk, like he thought my response was adorable.

I felt my cheeks warming, something inside me probing once again, making me curious what exactly those tentacles could do…

DADDY

It’d taken sometime, but I finally managed to shake off the mood I’d been in since encountering Twink’s ex, Cheating Asshole. It didn’t help seeing and feeling viscerally how much the interaction had affected his ability to enjoy the rest of our night. But he was better once we got back to his place. It reminded me of our first night when he first activated all my Furker instincts, that moment when he unwittingly began the process that only made me more and more drawn to him in the short time we’d known each other.

He fetched us bottled waters before we settled on the sofa, in front of the TV.

“I don’t know how I didn’t immediately suspect you were an alien,” he said. “If I’d found out you didn’t watch movies or TV shows, I probably would have known something was wrong.”

He turned on his TV and used the primitive remote to pull up thisRockyfilm, then started it before sliding close to me so that our legs touched, sending familiar sensations pulsing through me, reminding me of the way he tucked his ass close to my pelvis that first night. My cock firmed at the memory.

The movie played, and I watched the narrative unfold of a seemingly ordinary man struggling. Throughout the course of the story, I observed Twink as he would tear up. He steadily migrated from beside me, asking if he could rest his head on my leg, where he settled for the last half, when he was all tears. He turned to check on me as I noticed tears sliding down my own cheeks.

It was interesting that when I had manifested in other forms, I had not necessarily had such visceral responses to the media, but something about this experience affected my current body.

“Well, I’m relieved to see you’re not a sociopath,” he said, though I sensed only a half-joke. Maybe there was sincerely some relief in knowing I could emote as humans did. “Carter never understood what I liked about this movie. He didn’t like old movies, though. He’s more of a Marvel guy.”
