“You calm down! I’m calling the goddamn police!” Part of me knew screaming was not the right way to handle this, but my body was flooded with hormones, and he wasstillinside of me. Even after I started screaming at him.
Thorne’s pained expression looked apologetic, but then he reached under his seat and retrieved a length of nylon cord.
“What the hell are you doing? Did you plan this?”
“Of course not,” he chided. “This is to tie stuff onto the roof rack. But I need to get you home so you can calm down and I can explain. You screaming bloody murder on a neighborhood street is way too risky.”
“I’ll be quiet, I swear,” I said, trying to wiggle away from him and smacking my head on the door handle. Wincing, I reached up to rub it, and Thorne caught my wrist.
“I’m so sorry. I’ll make this up to you, I swear,” he muttered as he wrapped the cord around both of my wrists and tied a complicated knot.
“I’m being kidnapped by a werewolf.” My giggle was hysterical. I was losing it. At least the pressure in my vaginawas lessening so either he was finally softening, or I was losing feeling because of his huge werewolf cock.
Sighing, Thorne pulled out of me. He yanked his boxers on, leaving his jeans on the floor of the truck beside all of my clothes.
“You’re just leaving me back here, tied up and naked?”
“I’m sorry, Autumn.” Climbing up to his seat, he resolutely sat his ass on my phone and pressed the ignition button.
“I hope you butt-dial the police, you motherfucker!” I said, my voice hoarse from all of my yelling and screaming.
Thorne glanced over his shoulder, his brows pinched and mouth tight with remorse.
“You’re going to regret this,” I snarled.
“I’ll never regret you, but I really regret knotting you before you understood,” he admitted, before turning and pulling back onto the road.
Giving in to the urge to kick my feet, I let out an unholy scream that he ignored.
Chapter 9
Double Knotted
The car rolled along, and I laid in the back, hands tied, and slung every foul insult I could think of at him. My body was vibrating with panic, nausea welling up in my gut, my skin freezing and sweaty at the same time. I considered kicking him, but he was driving, and I didn’t want to get in a car crash.
I should’ve been looking out the window and figuring out where exactly we were. Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to still, and bit back the curses I wanted to throw at Thorne.
The break gave me a chance to calm down, and as my emotions cooled, I realized I was going about this the wrong way. Getting more riled up only forced him to double down on restraining me. It seemed like if I calmed down and pretended like I was totally cool with him being a werewolf, maybe he would let me go. Or he would want to bang me again. The idea had some appeal, despite the freaky knotty dick situation.
Finally, the car slowed, and Thorne pulled onto a driveway. It was dark outside with no visible house lights or street lamps. Thorne got out, taking my phone with him. I tensed, unsure what door he would open. If it was the one at my feet, I’d kick him in the head.
It was the door at my back. Shrieking, I fell backward, stopped by Thorne’s strong arms and firm chest. He was still shirtless.
A flush rose to my cheeks as he pulled me out of the car and slipped another arm under my bare legs, hefting me up against his chest. It would be so sweet if my wrists weren’t tied together.
“Are you calm now? I’d like to be able to untie you and make sure I don’t hurt you.”
My plans to thrash and bite him went on hold. Things would be much easier if he untied me, so I leaned into his hold and let him carry me naked up the driveway to a dark house.
Peering around, no other houses were visible. In the waxing moon, I could see greenery, maybe trees in the distance. We had to be on the very edge of town.
Thorne kicked the door instead of knocking, and a moment later, it opened.
Cole stood there, his eyebrows arching as he took us in—my naked ass and Thorne looking ready to murder someone.
“I take it the date went well?” Cole drawled.
“She thought I was pretending to be a werewolf.”
