“Yes, more!” I panted, pushing back against him, needing to feel him so deep inside of me that I could feel nothing but him.
“I’m not leaving your ass until you’re leaking with my cum,” he growled, his hands on my hips biting into my skin, almost as if he feared I would escape his hold. Like I’d ever want to, silly possessive man. If only he knew how badly I wanted him to remain inside of me forever.
“Your knot,” I begged, needing it to push me over the edge.
Darius fucked harder into me, his eyes finding mine through the mirror. He was like a man possessed. I was so fucking gone for his feral look, his obvious need to claim me like the animal inside of him wanted. He desired to claim me so much that he seemed lost to his instincts.
I came watching his dark eyes that were locked on mine, the slap of our sweat slicked skin like a melody far away as I succumbed to the pleasure of his knot forming, connecting me to him in a way I truly craved, needed.
A loud groan escaped him as he released into me, his teeth finding purchase on the side of my neck that was left unmarked by him.
I screamed with pleasure as the pain brought yet another orgasm through me, like Darius had some magical button he could push and then I would fall over the edge, lost to pleasure yet again.
“Fuck,” I panted, sucking in much needed air. “I swear it only gets better.”
A surprised laugh escaped him, making me moan with the vibrations from it, his knot still firmly locked into me.
“You’re so lovely with my marks on you, baby, it’s no wonder I can’t stop myself from claiming you over and over again.”
His words made my heart flutter with happiness. To be so utterly and completely loved for who I was…I never thought that would be in my future, I’d only dared dream of such a love.
“I want to mark you, too,” I whispered, knowing my wolf would preen with pride over leaving marks on Darius’ gorgeous skin. The one on his neck would forever remain, but the others could easily be redone each day if we wanted them to.
“You can mark every inch of my body, baby. You just say when.”
I smiled, enjoying the promise those words held.
Chapter Eighteen
Darius
After a quick and sated shower, Milo and I fell onto our bed, tired and happy. Cass and Jeremy’s ceremony day had gone perfectly and we now had a much bigger pack, something my wolf loved, but I truly had just wanted to go home with Milo and be us. I was honestly surprised I’d managed to wait until after the front door was closed before pouncing on him, he’d even reached the bathroom and was halfway through stripping before I attacked.
Now, Milo lay in my arms, his new marks healing away my claims, but his reassurance that I could reclaim him anytime I wanted helped ease my instincts to pounce on him again.
“I didn’t know happiness like this even existed,” Milo whispered softly into the darkness.
I mentally scolded myself and my base instincts. Here I was planning on when to pounce on him again, and he’s lying here thinking about how happy I make him. I truly needed to get a grip.
“I didn’t either,” I admitted. “I’ve always wanted it, though.”
He turned to face me, the darkness hiding most of his features. “Did you ever dare hope to find your fated back then? Or were you looking to find a chosen mate instead?”
Fated mates were rare, and most didn’t even bother hoping to find theirs, some—I would argue—didn’t even have a fated out there waiting for them.
“I dreamed of finding my fated,” I began, seeing Mom and Dad smiling replay in my memories. How happy they were. “I wanted what my mom and dad had, that never-ending love that only kept on growing year after year.”
“I wish I’d gotten to know them,” he whispered, snuggling into my side, my arm hugging him even closer.
“You were seven,” I smiled. “Why would you bother getting to know every packmate?”
“I don’t know. But I still wish I could remember them.”
Milo had lost his own mother when he was an infant, and I knew he wished he remembered her. Even Jeremy had a hard time remembering her, and he’d been seven when she died.
“You can visit their grave with me,” I offered, feeling strangely nervous, like I was presenting my parents to my fated for real.
“Really?” he perked up, seemingly really into the idea.
