“But your breasts bounce so nicely and your grip is so good.” The footsteps come down the spiral rock staircase, and Nikos speeds up his thrusts. I can’t get my tentacle to unwrap nomatter what I try. It’s like it’s sentient and refuses to give up control.

Just as the other three step out onto the platform, Nikos shouts and thrusts hard once more, exposing the tip of his cock through the cloth. As he does, cum shoots out and splatters all over my chest, the warm sticky fluid tingling against my skin as my tentacle finally unlatches itself and moves enough so it can suction around the now dripping tip.

I look at my mate and potential lover in dismay. “This is not what it looks like.”

They exchange a glance and grin. “Looks like a good time to me,” Caspian says, and Link joins in with his laughter as Nixie groans, slapping a hand over her eyes.

“Fucking hell, Nikos. What did you do?”

CHAPTER TWELVE

Link

When Nixie called me to come to their habitat, I was surprised. I hadn’t been invited down there before, but when she mentioned Lila being in danger, I dropped everything I was doing and hurried. I messaged Caspian and told him to meet me there, hoping that nothing bad had happened to his mate.

When we arrived at the platform near the door, I was prepared to strip down and swim across, but Nixie activated a floating path that came from the housing section to the platform we were standing on, allowing us to walk easily over to her house. When we got inside, I was stunned to find Saxon unconscious on the floor of the main living area.

“What is wrong with him and why is he here?” I ask, bending down to run my hand over him to scan for abnormalities. Vilaxians don’t get sick because their cells regenerate and are constantly healing themselves as long as they get a constant source of blood.

“He was in a blood frenzy. I had to sing him to sleep. He wouldn’t leave.” I watch concern wash over Nixie’s face as she repeats what happened.

“A blood frenzy? What caused that?” Caspian questions, sounding surprised. He pushes a hand through his purple hair, trying to understand what Nixie is telling us. I don’t blame him for worrying, it’s not often that Vilaxians will go into a blood frenzy outside of battle. The only other time would be if…

“He found his blood rose,” Nixie finishes, voicing my thought out loud.

“He did? Well, good for him. Is it one of the Aquilians? That’s extremely unusual, isn’t it? Aren’t they usually Vilaxians as well since they need to be able to sustain each other on their blood? I don’t think I’ve heard of a non-Vilaxian blood rose. It would surely be a death sentence for the other species if that were the case.”

I stand up as Caspian finishes asking his questions. I know that Saxon is fine. He is sleeping peacefully, which is probably for the best because he will suffer withdrawals and blood frenzy until he can get his blood rose to consummate their connection. I have a funny feeling that Caspian is in for a rude shock when he discovers who Saxon’s blood rose is.

“I will have the hover stretcher come down here, and I will take him back to my clinic and keep him sedated until we can talk to his blood rose,” I tell the two of them.

Nixie nods, looking resigned, but Caspian still looks confused. “What is wrong? The two of you look like this is a bad thing. What aren’t you mentioning?”

“Because his blood rose is Lila, Cas,” I tell him gently. “Isn’t it?” I ask Nixie, and she nods.

“Yes, she was hiding from him in the bottom of the pool, but she’s in our grotto at the moment. Nikos is with her, but sheneeds someone to tell her about being his blood rose and what it entails.”

“Can she survive that?” Caspian asks me, sounding shaky.

“I’m not sure. Like you said, there has never been a non-Vilaxian blood rose, or not that I’ve heard of. I will scan my data banks in search of more information as well as Vilaxian archives, which might have more,” I tell him, inputting the instructions into my screen so my computers back in my clinic can start the search.

“Come on, I’ve programmed the stretcher to make its way down here. Let’s go check on Lila while we wait.”

As we walk down the stairs, Nixie tells us about her brother telling Saxon the same things Caspian had told him, and we’re chuckling when we get to the bottom of the stairs. We stop the minute we step out onto the platform and find Lila with a tentacle wrapped around Nikos’s erect cock, with what looks like iridescent cum all over her chest.

A look of pure dismay crosses her face as she meets my eyes. “This is not what it looks like.”

I look at Caspian, who is wearing the same grin of amusement that creeps across my face at the humorous sight.

“Looks like a good time to me,” Caspian says, and I can’t stop the burst of laughter from exploding from my mouth. Nixie groans as she slaps a hand over her eyes.

“Fucking hell, Nikos. What did you do?”

“Nothing, I did nothing. We were talking, and then Lila grabbed my cock. You said she had to initiate things, so who am I to say no if she wants to stroke my glorious manhood?”

Caspian and I laugh harder as Lila tries desperately to pull away from him, but it doesn’t have the effect she wants it to. Nikos groans again, the sound of pleasure making my own cock move inside my pants.

“Don’t just stand there, help me!” she screeches at us. Her eyes widen in frustration but then turn helpless when she realizes we haven’t moved to assist her.
