How was JJ supposed to resist that? He couldn’t. Leary was his whole heart; torturing him was tormenting him. This time, he turned gentle. He let Leary’s orgasm build, but he let it grow slowly. When he felt Leary tense, JJ set a pace that would yield maximum results. When Leary came, JJ hummed as the taste of his cum filled JJ’s mouth. He never got enough of that flavor.

JJ sucked out every drop he could get and then turned his head to rest on Leary’s stomach. He didn’t want to move. They could live in bed and JJ would never tire of this. Love just coated every aspect of his life now. The quiet and peace, and wholeness Leary gave him was priceless. He had never been so in love with life.

Leary ran his fingers through JJ’s hair. “It’s too bad we have plans today. I could stay like this forever.”

JJ smiled at how much their thoughts matched. “We promised July we’d go to lunch, and there’s no blowing off my meeting with Beau, you know?”

“Yeah, I know. He truly doesn’t ask much of you. Not having met him, I can’t really judge, but he seems to treat you well. That’s all I want for you.”

JJ kissed Leary’s stomach. “Nothing is stopping us from picking up right here after lunch. You don’t go back to work until Tuesday. We have this entire long weekend to do nothing but this.”

“That sounds really nice.”

JJ lifted his gaze and stared up at Leary. “I love you more than life. You know that, right?”

“Of course. You know the same thing, right?”

JJ smiled. “Of course.” The doorbell rang, and a loud groan escaped JJ. “That would be July.”

“Early as always,” Leary agreed. “He’d better be glad I love him.”

JJ kissed Leary’s stomach and chuckled. “Even if you didn’t, you don’t have it in you to be mean.”

“That’s true.”

They went back to holding each other’s gaze. A spell weaved over JJ the way it always did with Leary.

The doorbell rang again. They shared a smile and rolled out of bed. JJ might beg Leary to blow off July if they didn’t move now. That wouldn’t ruin only July’s day. JJ had plans of his own. The past year with Leary had been nothing but heaven. He needed to get started on giving Leary the same energy for the rest of his life.

July held his breath as JJ drove through the gates of the Bosi compound. There were guards and security cameras everywhere. He imagined there were even more cameras he couldn’t see. His gaze shot in every direction.

“Wow! Everything is so pretty. Look at those roses.” He leaned between the front seats and focused on JJ. “Will they let me pick flowers?” July sat back, pouting. “They probably won’t. Everything looks super expensive. I imagine they don’t let anyone touch anything. A no-fun zone.”

JJ chuckled. “Don’t sulk. When we get inside, I’m sure Fletch will take you flower picking.”

July clapped. “Yay. I love flowers. That’s how I met Leary. He likes flowers too.”

After putting the car in park, JJ looked Leary’s way. “I didn’t know that. That’s something that sounds like a cute story.”

Leary took off his seatbelt and turned sideways in his seat. A bright smile lit his face. He turned animated in a way he only did for JJ. “If you think being covered in fertilizer is cute, then yes.”

July cackled.

Leary cut his eyes at July and laughed.

“Covered in fertilizer? What the hell?”

Leary nodded at JJ’s words. His smile never dimmed. He tipped his head in July’s direction. “This one was dancing with a huge pot of flowers inside the Avery greenhouse. He spun right into me with enough force to knock us both to the ground.”

July jumped in. “Oh my god. It was awful. We were both wearing white and the plastic flowerpot doohickey got smashed between us.”

Leary nodded. “They’d obviously just watered the flowers because that stuff mushed right between us, ruining our clothes.”

July chuckled. “I apologized profusely, and Leary drove me home to change. Then we went to his place so he could and we went to lunch.”

“We never stopped talking the entire time,” Leary added.

“Then we never stopped talking period.”
