“That was quick,” I say, a little smug, licking him off my lips.
He just laughs, breathless, then reaches over to pinch my ass. “Yeah, well, having my tongue and fingers deep in your ass for half an hour turned me the fuck on.”
I shiver at the reminder, my cock giving a needy twitch against my stomach, still leaking and smeared with my own cum.
“Sex with guys is messy as fuck,” I mutter, glancing down at the mess we made.
He laughs, a little dazed, and swipes his thumb across my stomach, picking up my cum before licking it off his thumb. “Yeah,” he agrees. “But so fucking fun.”
I chuckle and turn on my side, facing him. We lie there for a minute, tangled up together, sticky and messy as hell, but I don’t want to be anywhere else.
Logan watches me for a while before he leans closer and brushes his lips against mine. “I wish we could stay here all day,” he says with a gentle, soft tone that makes my heart clench.
Me too.
But of course, the universe is hellbent on crushing my dreams, because while we’re still catching our breath, we hear noise outside of my door, and then the faint yelling of Austin asking where his keys are.
I jerk, my pulse leaping at the sound. “Shit,” I whisper. “You should go. I still need to shower before practice.”
Logan’s still got his head buried in my shoulder, and he lets out a sigh that sounds a little disappointed. He props himself up on his elbow, his hair wild and I want to kiss him again so bad. “If I head out there, they’re going to know I was in here, and if we wait to shower we’ll both be late and coach will rip us a new one.” He slaps my ass and jerks his chin toward my en-suite. “Come on.”
I hesitate, but he’s already rolling out of bed and my eyes drift to his bare ass as he steps toward the bathroom.
I let out a breath when I hear the water and follow him inside. He’s standing in the shower, testing the water with his hand, then glances back at me. “You coming?”
I swallow hard and take a step into the shower, our bodies pressed together under the spray. I feel stupid for smiling, but I can’t help it, not with the way Logan’s hands are everywhere, kissing me just long enough to make me forget about the panic for half a second.
He grabs the soap, lathering up my shoulders, sliding his hands down my sides, then leans in to kiss the water from my jaw. We try to keep it quick, but his mouth keeps finding mine, and honestly, it’s a miracle we get clean at all.
A loud bang echoes from somewhere in the house and my heart leaps straight into my throat. “Shit.”
He just laughs, pressing one last kiss to my mouth before killing the water. “Relax, Hayes. They’re not gonna burst in.”
We scramble out, grabbing some towels to dry ourselves off. My hands are shaking a little as I shove my legs into my pants and try to get my breathing under control. Logan watches me, still annoyingly relaxed, a towel slung around his waist.
I glance at the door, then at him. “You go first,” I mutter. “If we walk out together, they’ll?—”
“Suspect something,” he finishes, grabbing his phone from my nightstand. “Yeah, yeah. I’ve got this.”
He rips the towel off and grabs his pajamas from last night, pulling them on—annoyingly slow—and then pauses when he reaches my door. He turns the handle and peeks into the hallway. “All clear.” He grins at me. “See you down there, goalie.”
The door clicks shut and for a second, all I can hear is my own breathing, my nerves still buzzing. I run a hand down my face, just trying to get it together.
I blow out a breath, yank the sheets off the bed, balling them up, and take the stairs two at a time, praying no one’s in the kitchen.
No such luck. Austin looks up from his bowl of cereal, watching me. “Didn’t you just wash your sheets, like, two days ago?”
Logan walks into the kitchen, wearing different clothes, and I freeze mid-step, heat climbing up my neck. I don’t say anything as I dump the sheets into the laundry basket.
“I just like clean sheets,” I mutter.
Austin snorts, then glances at Logan. “Maybe he’s finally getting laid.”
“Yeah,” Logan says, keeping his eyes locked on mine. “Would explain the good mood.”
I shoot him a glare but he just winks, smug as hell.
I try not to look at him. Try not to think about everything we just did. But my body is still humming.
