“You do and I want you to hook her up.”
“I’m telling you beautiful that no one is going to put up with her obnoxious ways.”
“What about Kyle? He came from the streets just like you. The only difference between you two is that you’re willing to have a relationship and he isn’t after Jill.”
“That should tell you something baby. He frolicking and fuckin’, not caressing and caring. Kyle only wants… damn, you might be right baby.”
“See! And who knows, they might balance each other out. They are so much alike it’s crazy.”
“Tell her I got her.” He kissed the top of my head, and I felt a wave of security wash over me.
I wanted it to be him instead of Prez so bad. But the heart wants what the heart wants. We rode in a comfortable silence with the smooth tunes of R&B surrounding us. I was waiting on something to go wrong between us, but it seemed as if our relationship kept getting better and better. Kase knew how to make a woman feel special indeed.
We arrived at the restaurant and entered hand in hand. The way his body towered over mine and how he looked at me had my body going crazy. I was excited to get the loving he was going to give. Kase didn’t know how to keep his hands off me so tonight would be no different.
Sex with Kase was top notch. I’d had my share of men and none of them amounted to the good dick this man supplied. Hecould touch things in me that I didn’t think were reachable. I was addicted to him in that department for sure.
“Are you happy gorgeous?” my face was cupped, and he was looking into my eyes with so much love in his.
“I am, and I’m also hungry.”
He chuckled and placed a sweet kiss on my lips that lingered when he removed his flesh. I was internally dying from how good he was to me knowing I could potentially break his heart. It sucked being in love with someone who had no clue on how you felt compared to someone who openly expressed their feelings for you. Kase was more than likely the better choice, but my soul wasn’t magnetically connected to him. That was all Prez.
Valentine’s Day was in less than twenty-four hours, but I received this kind of treatment from him daily. I enjoyed my time with him and the things we did. He had dared to be different, and it made one hell of an impression. The conflict I battled with when it came to him, and Prez was crazy because they both put me first.
As we were led to our table, I felt like the center of attention. The way people looked at me was as if I was the luckiest woman in the world. Kase somehow had us sitting smack dead in the middle of the restaurant where we couldn’t be avoided. I couldn’t help but feel special and nervous at the same time.
“Two years and you’ve yet to change,” I said as I tilted my head upward allowing him to give me another kiss. He hadn’t taken his seat yet due to pulling out mine and making sure I was good.
“I have no reason to. You’re amazingly beautiful and smart. I’m good with where I’m at.”
His response brought on a smile that couldn’t be contained. Finally taking his seat, he returned the smile that was plastered on my face. My thoughts were going crazy on why I couldn’t give him the same love in return.
“Can I start you guys off with something to drink?” the waitress was addressing us no sooner than we got comfortable.
“A water for me please.” I wasn’t too fond on drinking anything other than that honestly. Even when it came to alcohol intake. I drink maybe once or twice a year.
“Not tonight baby. Let your hair down,” he encouraged with that charming smile. “We’ll take a bottle of cabernet.” She looked at me and I nodded.
“Are you sure you want us to drink tonight? We might not be any good tomorrow.”
“We’ll have the energy… trust me.” He licked those luscious lips causing my temperature to rise.
Kase knew what he did to me. His handsome features couldn’t be missed by a longshot. I knew when we got back to the crib, he was laying damn good pipe. I was excited and anxious for the nasty things this man participated in.
“This is nice baby. Thank you.”
“It ain’t no thing beautiful. I was supposed to bring you here a few weeks ago but work got in the way. That’s my fault.”
“Don’t sweat it. It was never brought to my attention so therefore I can’t be disappointed about it.”
The way he was eye fucking me had me wanting to leave and give him his dessert early. I was always on cloud nine around him and the feeling of being desired was always present. Personality and looks gained him access to me and he’d been consistent since that day. His intentions never changed.
The night progressed and we found ourselves stuffed and tipsy. The lamb dinner was cooked to perfection and the wine had gone from slightly bitter to smooth. We were knocking the glasses back and the soberness was one foot out the door.
“You good bae?” he asked, and I slowly nodded. I was feeling too good. “Cool. Let a nigga use the bathroom and then we can get the fuck up through.”
“Okay baby.”
