"Dark blue."
"Like midnight blue? Or navy?"
"Midnight," I clarified. "I used to have a very soft comforter in that color."
"Do you want to find it? We can order it again," Dean suggested.
"No. It has bad memories attached to it," I said, realizing aloud that my trauma had seeped into my memories.
"I want to pay a visit to your old pack someday," Dean growled. "You deserve everything nice."
"Including alphas," Vale said pointedly, giving Kienan a harsh look.
"I get it, everyone's down on me because I paid for her to be kidnapped," Kienan snapped. "But if I hadn't, we wouldn't even know we had a scentmatch, so you don't have to ride me about it."
"I think it's more like you won't find anyone riding you because of it," Zephyr said under his breath.
I kicked him and frowned.
"What?" The man gave me a grin.
"All right, online shopping? I'm going to cast my phone to the TV so we can all participate."
We made short work of getting the dishes cleaned up and I realized I'd eaten far more than I'd meant to. Vale had sat beside me, slipping food onto my plate while I listened to the men. Now I felt very full and nearly waddled to the living room where Zephyr had set up the TV to show a shopping cart at an online nesting store.
"I know it's not the same as feeling everything for yourself, but choose a few things for now and once it's safe, we'll take you to the real store. What do you like?"
Zephyr scanned through page after page of fuzzy blankets and fluffy looking pillows. There were so many, I couldn't decide. What if I didn't stay in the end? Would I even be able to take anything if I was sent back later on?
"Stop overthinking and just tell me what you want. Forget about money, we've got enough."
I nodded and watched him scrolling. "That pillow?"
"This one, the heart?" I nodded and he added a black heart pillow in faux fur to the cart. "What about this matching blanket with moons on it?"
All I had to do was nod and he added it to the cart.
"Give me that," Vale sighed. He grabbed the phone and tapped away until body pillows appeared. "For a real nest."
"Whoa," Kienan stared. "I didn't know they made them like that. Let's get the U-shaped one."
Vale glanced at me and I scooted a bit closer to him on the sofa. "I like it."
"Good enough." He added two of them to the cart, along with three covers each in shades of blue.
After a few more cushions and blankets, we moved on to clothes. All four men threw in their opinions on the clothes that Zephyr put up on the screen, as I instructed him.
"I don't need a lot," I told them. "A pajama set and a couple of pants and maybe four or five shirts."
No one said anything, but Zephyr immediately clicked over to pajama sets for omegas. "What do you like?"
"The one with the cat and the moon," I told him.
"I'm seeing a pattern here," Dean mused. "Moons and stars and hearts?"
"I can't help it, I'm an omega. Look how many pajamas have those shapes on them… I'm not the only one."
Zephyr's finger hovered over the sizing information. "What size are you?"
