I almost lost everything before I found him again, and apparently Razor always felt the same but never let on.
I will deal with that later, but right now all I want is to be close to him. Safe, secure, and happy, knowing I am where I was always meant to be.
I follow him to a guest room and blink at the decadence.
“Bonnie would never leave this place.”
Razor chuckles. “Can you imagine? She would demand a total refit of The Rubicon. Ryder’s reserves wouldn’t bear up under the strain.”
I wander around the room, blinking in astonishment at the sheer luxury of this place. The smart furnishings that appearuntouched, expensive art, heavy silk drapes, paneled walls, and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom. The luxury bathroom where marble mixes with chrome, fur with cotton, and every modern gadget blends in with chic luxury, creating an experience I doubt I will ever witness again.
I turn to Razor and my heart rate increases. He is one gorgeous guy, and even though I prefer him in leather, he cuts a commanding figure in his black suit.
His gaze burns, and as he opens his arms, I run into them, loving how they fold around me, his strength tender but reassuring as he drops a light kiss on my head, his breathing deep and comforting against my ear.
“I’m sorry, darlin’. I will never stop apologizing for letting you walk away without declaring my feelings.”
“None of that matters now we are here.”
He presses me in closer, desire heavy in the air, and his low growl lights the flickering flame inside me, causing me to moan.
“Would it be rude to get naked right now?”
His low chuckle lights a smile, and he pulls back, tilts my face to his, his gaze dark, yearning, heated, as he whispers, “I thought you’d never ask.”
Without breaking eye contact, he eases the dress off my shoulder; it falls to the deep carpet in a heap, his expression lustful and filled with emotion.
I ease his jacket off, the shirt following quickly, longing to press my skin against his body, desperate to be close.
He angles my face and kisses me deeply, our tongues tangling, his fist curling in my hair.A low moan begins somewhere deep inside me as I kiss him back, my hunger real, my mind already gone.
Somehow, the rest of our clothes join the others in a pile, and he swings me in his arms, his lips never breaking away from mine.
We fall onto the bed, the cushions scattering, our bodies molding together, a desperate need to be closer overwhelming.
He pinches my chin lightly between two fingers and gazes deep into my eyes, his burning with tenderness, passion and a deep yearning that I share.
No words are spoken, no need for foreplay; we both know what we want, and who the hell cares if it’s quick. Our connection is unbreakable as he enters me deep, our desperate groans blending, my breath hitching as he returns home where he belongs.
I’m emotional as he claims my body as if it were yesterday and not several interminable months that have passed in pain before the sweetest homecoming.
I grip him tight, afraid to let go, and his familiar groan tells me we are on the same page.
He moves deeper, pulling out just enough to create friction, my pussy a jealous one, clamping down on him, refusing to let go.
It’s quick; it always was going to be as we crash and burn together, unable to hold back. I’ve waited so long for this, never really believing I’d experience it again, and tears are my happy companions as I return home. I should have never left.

I’m notsure how long we lie glued together before we hear movement from inside the building and Razor groans. “They’re back.”
With a deep sigh, he rolls off me and turns, his broad smile a welcome one as I gaze at him with happiness, desperate to commit every line, every scar, every inch of his face to memory.
“I’ll clean up and head down to meet them. Take your time, darlin’, then come and find us. I don’t know about you, but I’ve worked up quite an appetite.”
I smile, reaching out, tracing his lips with my fingers, gazing at him with happiness, not pretending, not holding back.
“I love you, Razor.”
