“Yup.” I smile as I hear the excitement in her voice.

We’ve seen her kill before, but not as the Butterfly Killer. I’m pretty stoked to see my girl at work.

It’s going to take everything in me not to fuck her after she’s done. You know what? Who cares, I’m totally going to fuck her in that park. I’m sure I’ll have enough time before the cops show up.

“She’s headed your way. Long brown hair, looks in rough shape. You can’t miss her.”

“Poor girl. She’s already going to have a shitty ending to her night, and that piece of shit had to make it worse,” she sighs. “Are you sure I can’t kill him instead?"

I look at Jasper, and he shakes his head.

“Sorry, boss-man said no,” I sigh. “I know, killjoy, right? But that would cause a war we don’t want right now.”

“Fiiiine,” she sighs. “You on your way?”

“Just down the street.”

“See you soon!”

She hangs up, and we continue down the street, parking a block away.

Getting out, we quickly walk in the direction we saw the girl go.

“Would this be considered a date?” Wesley asks.

“How the fuck would this be a date?” Jasper grumbles.

“We took Nola out to eat before coming here, we fucked in theback seat of the car, and now we’re doing an activity together. Isn’t that what a date is?”

“I’ve never been on a date, but if I had to pick a perfect one, I'd say this would be it.” I shrug. “What about you, Jasper?”

“Yes, because all dates should end in murder,” he mutters.

“Yes, they should. See, you’re not as much of a stick in the mud as you like to make us think you are.” I chuckle, wrapping my arm around his shoulder.

“Fuck off,” he growls, throwing my arm off his shoulder. “Focus, we have work to do.”

“Ah, I think our girl has that taken care of it already,” Wesley states just as we round the corner and hear a loud thud.

Standing there is Nola. She’s changed since we saw her last, dressed in black shorts, black fishnets, a green crop top, and a mesh hoodie.

At her feet is the girl.

“Don’t worry.” She spins around to face us.

I’ve seen the mask before, in the selfie left behind on the body we found at my place, but seeing it in person is kind of a shock.

This five-foot-nothing girl was the killer we all assumed was a man.

Now that I’m looking at her, that mask is kind of sexy.

“She’s not dead yet, just passed out.” She looks down at the body. “I felt bad, you know? I didn’t want her to see me before I killed her. She was already going through some shit, it would have been mean to scare her before ending her life, right?”

She looks back up at us and claps her hands. “Okay!” she says excitedly. “Here’s what I was thinking. If these are my last few kills, I wanna make it worth it, you know? Have a little fun. So, hear me out.” She grabs a bag she has by her feet, pulling some things out of it.

“What is that?” Jasper asks.

“Zipties. To keep her upright.”
