I’m fucking addicted to this woman. “I want to live inside you,” I growl before kissing her again.

She whimpers, making my cock twitch.

I’m about to wrap her thighs around me and fuck her right herein the middle of my room when Jasper appears like a wet fucking blanket.

“Enough,” he barks, and I pull my mouth from hers with a frustrated groan.

“Fucking cockblock.” I glare at him.

“Sex later. We have things to discuss.”

“Fine, Dad,” I say sarcastically. “Be ready for this one to be the Debby Downer of every situation,” I warn Nola.

She buries her face in my chest, her body shaking with laughter.

This is weird. So fucking weird. But yet, it feels right. I’ve never felt so… normal in my life.

This girl makes me feral, makes me want to do despicable things to her. But at the same time, she also makes me feel… dare I say it, like a lovesick simp.

“Come on, Lola Girl.” I bend down and scoop her up into my arms bridal style. She wraps her arms around my shoulders, smiling up at me like I hung the fucking moon for her. I would. If I could, I’d do anything for this girl. “You.” I address Jasper, looking directly at him. “I’m mad at you.”

“What the hell did I do?” he growls.

“I could have had my Lola Girl for years now. But noooo. You said she was too pure. How does it feel to be so incredibly wrong? Honestly, it’s kind of embarrassing, man.” I bump his shoulder with my own as we pass him. Nola buries her face into the crook of my neck, trying not to laugh.

“You’re never going to let me live that down, are you?” he asks as he follows after.

“Nope,” I tell him, pressing a kiss to the top of Nola’s head.

I carry her down to the living room, and instead of placing her on the couch, I keep her on my lap, wrapping my arms around her. Burying my face into her hair, I inhale, loving how she smells like me.

“Mine,” I murmur before biting her shoulder.

She gasps, but instead of sounding like she’s in pain, she squirms on my lap. I grin against her skin, pressing a kiss to the teeth marks I left behind. “Dirty girl.”

“You say that as if it’s a bad thing,” she mutters.

“Do we have to talk?” Wesley asks, plopping down in the chairnext to us. “I’d rather be fucking,” he says with his dark eyes fixed on our girl.

Lola squirms in my lap again, her ass rubbing against my erection. “Keep doing that, and you’re going to make me embarrass myself,” I taunt her.

Wesley snorts out a laugh. “Like that would embarrass you. You’d just grin proudly like the fucking creep you are.”

I chuckle and shrug. He’s not wrong.

“Yes, we have to talk. It’s been two weeks since our lives turned upside down, and I’ve spent most of that time trying to clean up her mess,” Jasper says, taking the couch across from us.

“I’m sorry,” Nola rushes to say. “I really am. I didn’t mean to cause trouble for you guys.”

“We know you didn't, baby.” I pull her closer, trying to mold my body to hers as much as I can.

I don’t think I'm going to be letting go of her tonight.

Jasper leans forward, his arms on his thighs as he narrows his eyes at Nola. “The Brotherhood is on our asses. They believe two killers are on the loose. And they’re tired of hearing my excuses, or that I have this under control. They want whoever this is to be either locked up or dead. And if it’s the latter, they want to be shown proof. Seeing as how you’re the person in question, that's not going to happen. So, I’m sure you can see the dilemma we’re in.”

“I do,” Nola agrees slowly. I shift my body so that I can see her face. She’s chewing on her lip, deep in thought. I can almost see the cogs turning inside her head.

“What are you thinking, Little Rabbit?” Wesley asks, pulling one of those damn cancer sticks out of his pocket.
