“Nice,” Callie chuckles.

When it’s Jasper's turn, I can’t help but swoon as he takes off his shirt. “Don’t look.” I cover Callie’s eyes with my hand.

“I don’t want your man,” she informs me with mock disgust. “I wanna see Jasper chop off the guy’s leg!” She pushes my hand down just in time to see Jasper bring the axe down, taking the guy out at the knee. “Daaaamn!” Callie grimaces as the guy screams bloody murder. “That's gotta hurt.”

Next up is Wesley.

“What is he doing?” Callie asks, cocking her head to the side as Wesley straddles the last guy’s lap. He grabs his face, whispering something in his ear before prying his mouth open and shoving his lit cigarette inside, then forces his mouth shut.

Wesley pinches the guy’s nose and covers his mouth, forcing him to swallow it. The man screams in pain, but Wesley shuts him up when he shoves a gun into his mouth and pulls the trigger.

We both jump at the loud bang. The sound scares Skittles, making him fly off his perch.

“No!” I shout. “Go back! They’re not done,” I whine.

“That was fun,” Callie says. “I have new respect for my brother. To do all that for his girl. Mad props.”

“I still can’t believe they killed them.” I bite my lower lip, trying to hide my giddiness.

“I can. They looooove you,” Callie teases. “They’re totally head over heels for you. Lola and guys sitting in a tree, k.i.s.s.i.n.g.”

“Stop,” I snort out a laugh.

“Tell me that wasn’t one of the most romantic things you've ever seen.”

“It was, wasn’t it?” I can't hold back my glee.

“One hundred percent.”

We both look at each other before bursting into squeals.

My life is looking up. Each day is better than the last.

I have the best parents, school is going great, Callie is my rock, and the guys… Well, that’s a slow process, but I think we’re making incredible strides already.

I was expecting them not to even hint at wanting me until I revealed who I was and what I’ve been doing.

But last night showed that there’s something there. They’re just holding themselves back.

I need to push, just a little bit, show them that there’s no reason to keep denying themselves what they really want.

Let’s be honest, they’re boys. And unfortunately haven’t learned how to read minds yet, so sometimes we have to give them that little push they need.

I’m excited to see them again, to see what they’ll do next.

CHAPTER

TWENTY-FIVE

SYLAS

It’s beena few weeks since the Halloween party, and I can say with confidence that Nola has me all in my head.

She’s off limits; I know that, but it doesn’t take away the fact I fucking crave her.

Why did my sister have to go and become best friends with her? Now I see her all the damn time. She’s always here looking all sweet and tempting.

At first, I was happy that Callie found a friend. Who better for her to spend her free time with than Nola? A sweet, kind girl. Someone who would keep my sister out of trouble.
