“No, you don’t,” she said against Ethan’s lips, and Ethan chuckled.

“I actually thought you were sweet. Hollis is an old friend. He can be a bit of a brute.”

“Really? You think I’m sweet?”

Stop sounding so fucking desperate.

“Really sweet.”

Melodie winked at me and definitely flaunted her power.

“See?” she said with a smirk, tossing me a set of keys I recognized as Natalie’s. They were the ones she carried from time to time.

“We’re going home.”

Home?

Oh…fuck.

The mansion certainly wasn’t home.

But home is where you sleep, right?

I could feel my concrete enclosure under my feet even as we stepped on the squishy grass to get to the mansion’s gates.

Ethan seemed cautious, but Melodie hadn’t taken her hands out of his pants since we’d gotten in the car.

I hated it.

I felt like a part of the story that didn’t fit.

Nothing new…

I didn’t fit anywhere.

And I hated the mansion.

Even the places I was finally seeing for the first time, now that Natalie was allowing me to visit them, were hollow. It was all an echo.

I could hear the faucet in the downstairs bathroom dripping the minute we stepped through the doors. It overpowered the rustle of Ethan’s belt and the skin-slapping sound of Melodie jerking his cock.

One…

Two…

Three…

It wasn’t even loud, but my brain didn’t want to hear what was beside me.

Melodie sneezed suddenly and yanked her hand out of his pants.

“I need to pee! Holy fuck. Play nice, boys. I’ll be right back!”

Ethan looked around with an awkward smile, and he shoved his hands into the pockets of his undone jeans. “So…”

Melodie swept past me and nodded back towards him, licking her lips. “I got him ready for you. Go play.”

Easy for her to say.
