Let’s see just how cocky you are when I find your little bitch ass. God damn cheating punk!
My eyes scanned the monitor before me, reading the player’s information as I pinpointed where they were playing from. Not only was he local, but the little cocksucker was live-streaming their gameplay from another platform under the same tag, making this all too easy. “Ha!” I scoffed. “Got you, cottontail. Now, let’s see the little geek behind the screen.” I clicked on the live stream, expecting to find some prepubescent nerd gaming from his parents’ basement, sitting in the dark as he scratched his balls, but what I saw instead left me utterly dumbfounded. “What the?—-“
“Yes! Suck my dick, bitch! Woah!”
I blinked, speechless. Not because ofwhowas behind the screen, but by the fact that she was probably the most attractive and striking woman I’d ever laid my eyes on.
“What do you think, chat? Should I snipe his dick off?” The attractive white-haired woman laughed, clicking her keyboard as she smiled, staring straight into her monitor, her pale face filled with such delight as she pulverized the opposing team. She was drenched in a vibrant pink hue that came from the neon lights that surrounded her. Her entire room was a mix of kawaiiand e-girl aesthetics, framing her like a psychedelic work of art, her cat-eared headset flashing and bobbing while she effortlessly destroyed the other players, squealing as she led her team to yet another victory. “Yes! Suck it!” The woman raised her arms, her large breasts distracting the hell out of me as they nearly popped out of the tiny little tube top she was wearing. She flipped her long alabaster hair around, cheering and celebrating, dancing just like her character in the game. Comments from her subscribers flooded the chat along her screen—hundreds, if not thousands of people celebrating her colorful victory. An alarm suddenly went off from within her room and as her hazel eyes shot to her camera, I nearly lost my breath. “Oh, shit!” She silenced it and turned back to the live stream, her gaze lifting as if it were locking onto the viewer’s. “Sorry, boys, but I got to go! Got to work to make that money!” She stuck her tongue out then winked.
Work? Wait, no.
The woman leaned in closer toward the camera, her eyes twinkling in the neon light. “Don’t be sad,” she cooed in a baby-like voice. “Now, be a good boy, and don’t forget to like and subscribe!” She blew a kiss to the camera and smiled in a way that made my cheeks burn. “And don’t forget to catch my new show! Later, boys!” And just like that, her live stream ended.
“Wait.” I tapped my keyboard, but the live stream was dead. “No. Wait.” I typed, searching her social media profiles linked, hyper-focused on finding her again.
I spent a few minutes deep-diving through her social media to find out that this mysterious, white-haired woman didn’t just game and live stream, but cammed on a few adult websites, and even produced her own music. She was not only famous on the adult website, but had a large online following. And from what I discovered, she was also an up-and-coming DJ. “Impressive,” I whispered to myself, the monitor beeping as she posted. Mycursor moved over and clicked on the image to see it was a selfie of the woman wearing the same crop top, oversized sweatpants, and cat ear headphones from before. She was standing in front of a large mirror in the same room and making a peace sign while looking into the camera with a grin. I couldn't help but stare at the woman, noticing her height, the length of her hair, just studying every single little detail about her. “Now, where are you running off to, little cottontail?” I asked softly. I glanced at the caption of her post, reading the hashtags she used when I noticed she’d also tagged The Red Eye. It was then I realized she was probably heading out to the club for a gig. The urge to see her in person became an instant obsession as I searched and searched, peeling back her digital presence until I found exactly what I was looking for. And what I found brought the biggest smile to my face.
“See you tonight.”
An odd, unfamiliar feeling swelled through my body and filled every inch of my existence as I shut my bike off and stepped through the parking lot of The Red Eye. The bass from the club boomed loudly, carrying the rhythm all the way outside and into the night. A bit of anxiousness nibbled at my nerves as I kept my helmet on and eyed the long line of people, impatiently waiting outside for a chance to get in. Not only was The Red Eye a notorious club, but it just so happened to be one of the many businesses run under Charlotte’s Web underground network. The same network me and my siblings were all a part of. And by some chance of fate, it happened to also be where the white-haired woman was set to perform. At least, that’s what the club’s social media post had said.
Deep breath. It’s just The Red Eye.
I kept my helmet on, the visor down and hiding my face as I walked past the winding line and straight to the door, approaching the bouncer. The large man, dressed in all black, moved to stop me from entering while the line of onlookers sneered and scoffed, obviously pissed off. “Hold up, there. No one gets in without paying the cover charge. Plus you have to wait your turn in line just like everyone else. And the back of the line is down there.” He pointed before clasping his hands in front of his body. “No cutting. Now, please make your way to the end of the line, sir.”
I sighed, and lifted the visor of my helmet, revealing my eyes. “You sure about that?” I asked, slightly annoyed. “Why not take a closer look.”
The man’s face drained of color as he recognized me. He stepped aside, fumbling over his words while motioning me forward. “S-shit! Forgive me! I-I didn’t know!” He touched the earpiece he wore, speaking quietly into it. “Boss—the green-eyed devil is here.” He then turned back to me and forced a smile, noticeably uncomfortable. “Sorry about that, Felix. I didn’t recognize you.” He quickly lofted the rope and welcomed me inside. “VIP is expecting you. Please let me, or any of the employees know if you need anything.” He stepped aside, slightly lowering his head in a show of both respect and fear as I walked past.
I patted his shoulder, slipping a hundred-dollar bill into his nice jacket pocket while walking by. “Keep an eye on my bike.”
“Y-yes, sir!” The bouncer cut the line after I stepped inside and you could hear everyone else gasp in outrage that I just walked in while they had to wait. It made my lips curl inamusement at how fucking ignorant they all were to who I really was.
Now, where are you, little cottontail?
My curiosity grew with each step I took as I walked into the overly-crowded club, that unfamiliar anxiety growing in my chest as I removed my helmet, shaking my black hair loose and making my way to the VIP booth. The owner of the club was already there, waiting to greet me while wearing a forced smile. “Felix! What a pleasant surprise!” He reached out to shake my hand, but I looked past him, unbothered. “Right.” The man snapped his fingers, and bottle service arrived. “I must say, I half expected your siblings to drop by, but having the older Osvaldo member present is such a rare honor!”
I took a seat along the velvet couch and shot him a look. “Haze and Indigo are busy tonight. And I’m here on…business.”
The man nodded. “Right. Well, I know you prefer your solitude, but if you need anything at all, do not hesitate to ask. My staff has been alerted to your presence and are on standby and ready to meet your every need.” I nodded as the club lights shifted from their usual red to a vibrant fuchsia. The music shifted from the club’s usual preference to a lower beat, slowly growing in volume and depth as it rolled through the crowd like a wave.
The owner turned to leave, but I raised my hand and stopped him. “Hold up.” The man froze and turned back to face me. My eyes moved past him as I spotted her—cottontail—making her way through the crowd. She stuck out like a sore thumb, her long, snow-colored hair nearly glowing in the dark, and flowing well past her back while she remained facing away from me. I leaned forward a bit, watching as she turned in my direction. She was dressed in a light blush-colored, playboy-inspired latex bodysuit studded with grommets and buckle straps, a matching garment belt, cuffs, and a collar. And sitting atop her vibrantwhite head of hair, was a set of matching pink bunny ears that lit up with neon lights. Her pale face was covered in all sorts of glitter and pastel makeup, her exposed arms and legs also smothered in it as she sparkled under the neon nights. “Who is that?” I asked, pointing to the woman, my focus locked on the little vixen.
The owner turned, following my gaze. “The guest DJ?”
I nodded.
The resident DJ of The Red Eye gripped his microphone and shouted to the crowded club as he ushered the woman over. “Alright, you late night party animals! I’ve got an extra special surprise for you tonight! Put your hands together for tonight’s guest DJ, and the bunny of your dreams, DJ Cottontail!” The entire club erupted into cheers as the lights flashed like lightning, vibrant shades of neon pink drenching the entire place as the woman hugged the man, causing something deep inside me to stir.
Why is he touching her?
The owner cleared his throat, redirecting my focus as I realized my hands had squeezed into fists. “I believe the woman’s name is Danika Dream.” I nodded the owner away, keeping my eyes on her.
Danika Dream.
I looked back at Dream, watching as she began to show off her talents. The lights mirrored the bass of her song of choice, a classic orchestra sound that slowly crept through the speakers, growing into a deep reverb as she blended another song into it, the immense beat shaking the club. Magenta and purple neon lights filled the space as everyone moved to her beat, dancing while she mixed the tracks effortlessly, creating something magical as she bobbed her head and swayed with the music. She raised a single arm into the air, smiling wide as confetti rained down onto the crowd, the beat reaching its climax and just then, time slowed as something shifted in me. There was something about her…the way she smiled, the way she moved her body under those lights…she wasn’t just another pretty face you’d pass on the street or see in your day to day life. No. She was fucking ethereal. And I was captivated by her presence. The way her long, white hair swayed as she rocked her body under the lights, making her skin sparkle as if soaked in the night sky itself. She was a living, breathing, walkingdream.
And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, her hazel eyes lifted and pierced through the crowd, landing directly on me and taking my breath away. And for a brief, passing second, everything else in my miserable, lonely life melted away, leaving only her. Dream.
