It was a reflection on me more than anyone else that I didn’t have any close friends. It was something I wanted to work on. Thinking of Austin as my closest friend was probably not the healthiest, considering how much we’d omitted in our talks.

And I knew he’d hate me if he found out about the thoughts I had for Avery. Or hell, about Mateo, too.

I shifted in my chair as I thought about Sunday night. It was Tuesday and I’d spent yesterday jacking off thinking about Mateo fucking me again. In my weekly spreadsheet, Monday had three things on it.Jacked off. Made better muffins. Jacked off again. I’d wasted an entire day just being horny and wantingmore.Thinking about everything we’d discussed about Avery.Wondering what it would be like for the three of us to be together.

He’d tried to sneak out yesterday morning. He was quiet, but the truth was, I’d been awake before he left, thinking about him. Thinking about how good it felt to have him in my bed.

Even now, my cock perked up at the thought of waking up next to him again. I took a deep breath and tried to refocus on my messages. I clicked on the messages from Robin.

Robin: Hello from your underpaid agent.

Just kidding, I’m not underpaid. Everything is going fine and I’ve put out all the fires. Everyone is desperate for you to return back to the team, though. How’s your time in Texas?

I smiled. This was, in fact, why I paid her so much.

So far, so good. Sorry I’ve been offline a lot. It’s been good for me though

Robin: Don’t be sorry, I’m glad you’re taking your time. How’s your body feeling?

Right shoulder is still giving me trouble. I’ve been doing PT every morning and I did yoga on Sunday

Robin: WOW. Levi Rayburn in yoga? Never thought I’d see it.

Take care of yourself. Get plenty of rest

I will. Thanks for handling everything

Robin: Of course!

I will be dragging you back to Minnesota in 3 weeks though. Texas can’t have you for too long

My stomach did a slow flop.

Did I even want to go back to Minnesota? That was where my life was. Not here. I had my apartment and all my belongings and my career up there. Everything I’d spent years building toward.

And yet, all I could think about was Avery and Mateo.

Another text popped up, stealing my full interest. It was as if Mateo had heard my thoughts.

Mateo: Avery, this is Levi’s number. Levi, this is Avery’s number

We should go on a secret triple date ;)

I’m free tomorrow night. Well, really any night, unless Whynot catches on fire.

What I’m saying is—I want both of you. Badly. Terribly. And I think you both want each other and me too

I rubbed my chest. Was it hot in here? Why was there suddenly sweat dripping down my back?

Avery’s texts came in next.

Avery: Oh god. Hi. Good morning.

I’m free tomorrow night too. If we do anything, I really don’t want my brothers finding out. At least for now

I chuckled and responded.

None of us want them to find out. Secret is safe with me. I’m also free tomorrow night.
