Dom returned a few minutes later with the first-aid kit, taking the lead in bandaging it perfectly without any input from me.It was surprisingly nice to feel taken care of for once, especially since I was used to being the one who always took care of everyone else.

Dom

It was a fun day spendingtime with Jo, especially when I got to help her take care of Molly.I had never been around babies before, so it was an eye-opener when I realized how much work went into keeping them safe and happy.

By the time Charlie and Axel came to pick Molly up, it was already late, and I could tell Jo was getting tired.I had cleaned up the kitchen after dinner while she tended to the baby so that there wasn’t anything left to do before bed.

Jo was in the bathroom getting ready while I changed into my sweatpants. It seemed like fate had a way of tempting us relentlessly as she walked in while I was without a shirt again.

“Fuck me,” she mumbled before turning on her heel to go back into the ensuite bathroom.

“I’m game if you want me to,” I offered, noting the second she stopped in her tracks as she heard me.

I didn’t bother putting my clean shirt on as I waited for her to respond, knowing she was as into me as I was into her.I could feel it earlier when we kissed.

She slowly spun back to look at me, her eyes betraying her as she quickly took in my body.I grinned proudly when they stopped at my sweats, noticing the way she swallowed hard when she saw the outline of my cock.

“You know we can’t do that,” she said softly, finally lifting her eyes to meet mine.“It would be too complicated.”

“Why?Do you have some tricky positions you want to try?Believe it or not, I would probably be into them and am more than willing to make them happen.”

“I’m serious, Dom.”She rolled her eyes, but I heard the soft laugh that managed to slip out.“You were Tray’s best friend.”

“And you were his wife. Both past tense, Jo.”

“I know, but...”

I stepped closer to her, making sure to move slowly so I didn’t scare her off.I could tell she was nervous, but I never wanted her to feel that way about me.

“But what? You’re divorced.I don’t talk to Tray anymore, and if I did, I would kill him for what he did to you.I think it’s pretty obvious where my loyalty lies.”

“Are we being reckless? You’ve been in town for all of two days, and we’re already talking about...”She threw her hands up, refusing to finish her sentence.

I took another step closer, noticing the way her body immediately relaxed as I placed my hands on her hips.
