“You certainly can move…”
“Don’t finish that sentence.”
“What?” I ask innocently.
“Were you gonna say ‘for an old guy’?”
I laugh, pulling back to look at him. His eyes, they’re like sparkling emeralds even in this dull light.
“Nope, for a bartender?—”
I yelp as he rolls me over, still inside me, and I’m on my back. “This bartender can teach your ass a thing or two.”
“I think you already did,” I muse.
He frowns. “Did I hurt you?”
I shake my head. “Far from it. I liked it. A lot.”
He pinches my chin. “You do have a smart mouth though.”
“I’ve been told that on many occasions.” I look away, not sure where we go from here. “I guess I better be going.”
He laughs.
I blink.
“Logan?”
“I’m still inside you and you’re already runnin’ away?”
“No. Not running. I just… I figured you probably don’t want me sleeping here.”
He trails a knuckle down my cheek, his eyes never leaving mine. “I’m gonna get up and make us some food. I’ll bet you haven’t eaten, then we’re gonna shower, and I’m gonna fuck you again.”
My eyes widen. “Food?”
He shakes his head. “That’s all you got from that?”
I roll my lips. “I really am famished. For some reason, I’m worn out.” Then I frown. “You cook?”
“Don’t look so astounded. I am capable of putting together a sandwich.”
“Sandwiches aren’t cooking.”
“They are if you grill them.”
I keep my trap shut. I need food. “You make a valid point.”
“I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like a turkey melt.”
My stomach almost groans. “Would you like a hand?”
He pulls out of me, rolling onto his back. Then he shifts and a few seconds later, his t-shirt lands on my belly. “Put this on. You can butter the bread.”
