It had been an amazing day for both of us, but the evening was getting downright uncomfortable for me.
Would I change it if I could?
Hell, no, I wouldn’t.
My woman was happy and glowing in that fuck-me coral dress, and I wouldn’t change that for all the discomfort in the world.
Honestly, the dress wasn’t incredibly revealing, but it was the most skin she’d ever shown, and it had felt like a gut punch when I’d realized that I could get a small glimpse of the scar on her chest in the halter neckline.
She didn’t seem to have a problem revealing a little of that scar, and it hadn’t escaped my notice that she was showing the curve of her breasts and a significant amount of cleavage.
It didn’t help knowing that she wasn’t wearing a bra, either.
There was no way she could in that dress.
The skirt was flowy, but the seductive slit up the side was one of the hottest things I’d ever seen.
It was classy, but sexy as hell when she flashed those perfect legs of hers.
I was in hell and enjoying every moment of it.
Maybe I was a masochist, but there was nothing like seeing my woman find her self-confidence.
In my mind, she never should have lost it in the first place, but I’d be more than happy to keep reminding her that she was perfection.
I was convinced that her objective had been to get me hard, and she’d overwhelmingly succeeded.
I hadn’t been particularly happy that she’d needed to borrow a bag and shoes from Reese because she didn’t have anything appropriate to go with her dress.
She should have bought whatever she needed.
But I was going to have to suck it up.
She was compromising, and I was going to have to do the same.
She was letting me buy her things, and that was a step forward for her.
If I wanted Sierra, which I most definitely did, I was going to have to lose some of the huge ego I’d developed after reaching billionaire status.
To her, I was just a man, and I liked the fact that she saw me that way.
“How’s the food?” I asked.
We’d both ordered steaks, and mine was more than adequate.
“Fantastic,” she said with a flirty smile. “As you can see, I was hungry.”
I grinned at her.
She’d already finished most of her steak and side dishes.
My woman had an appetite, and she wasn’t afraid to admit that she was a hopeless foodie.
That was just one more thing I liked about her, because I was a guy who liked my food.
“I haven’t been here in a long time,” I told her. “I forgot how good the food is here.”
“I don’t know how you could possibly forget,” she said in an awed voice. “I know I won’t.”
