She and Elsa shared a smile.

“Now, you really are my Amanda May,” Elsa said.

“And a Santini.” Luciano opened the cabin door. “With that name comes a lot of responsibility… and a lot of enemies.”

Maybe so, but Slash wasn’t scared.

They walked toward the stern. Once there, Slash clasped Elsa’s hand, then wrapped her other hand around the crook of Luciano’s arm. Pausing, she scanned the guests and the wedding party, searching for her man.

And when she found him, her heart leapt.

Wow. So handsome.

His gaze radiated love, as her own happiness coursed through her.

Carrera’s dad stood to the side while the wedding party formed a horseshoe against the back of the ship, facing the small group of seated guests. Instead of the men on one sideand the women on the other, Slash asked that the couples stand together. Husband and wife, side by side.

The music began, the seated guests rose. She made her way down the aisle toward Carrera, whose gaze never left hers. When she came to a stop beside him, she kissed Elsa’s cheek, then Luciano kissed both of hers. Luciano escorted Elsa to their seats.

She acknowledged her close friends with a smile before she turned her full attention on her man.

He clasped her hands. “You are beautiful. Just stunning.”

“You too, babe,” she murmured.

His dad introduced himself and welcomed everyone. “As the ship’s captain and a proud dad, it’s my absolute honor to officiate my son’s wedding. And I couldn’t be happier for him and Slash.” Addressing the couple, he continued. “Today is the beginning of your life together. Going forward, you are a team. Together you can work through anything, take on life’s challenges, and experience life with a forever love. Talk through your issues, and remember to laugh.” He paused. “Who has the wedding rings?”

Luciano rose, handed Carrera the gold band.

“Carrera, would you like to pledge yourself to Slash?” Carrera’s dad asked.

Carrera let his gaze float over her face. “Slash, I love you with my whole heart,” he began. “Today, in front of our family and closest friends, I promise to put you first.Always. You are the love of my life, and every day we are together will be a good day. Forever will never be long enough with you. You are my world and I adore you.”

They shared a loving smile before Carrera slid the wedding band onto her finger. “Forever.”

“Slash, would you like to say your vows to Carrera?” his dad asked.

Slash stared into his eyes. “Carrera, you are my forever love and that will never change. We’ve got a good thing. Let’s always remember that. Marriage means something… to both of us. I will love you fiercely, I will love you always. I will love you with my whole soul.”

Luciano offered her the ring, which she slid onto Carrera’s finger. “The circle of this ring symbolizes the circle of our love and our life together. Never ending.”

Paul Santini proudly pronounced them husband and wife.

Carrera placed his hands gently on her face and kissed her. The love flowed and she smiled. When the kiss ended, she kissed him back.

“Hello, wife,” he murmured.

“Hello, husband.”

The photographer swung into view and they smiled at the camera. “Like I told you when I met you, the camera loves you two.”

Carrera kissed her cheek, whispered in her ear. “You are beyond stunning.” He lifted her hand, kissed her skin. “Ladies and gentleman, my gorgeous, smart, badass wife, Slash Santini.”

The guests and wedding party applauded and cheered.

She laughed as their friends gathered around offering their best wishes and congratulations. A few minutes passed before she broke away.

“Where are you going?” Carrera asked her.
