“The man knows what he wants,” Prescott added.

“I sure as hell do.” After a beat Carrera said, “I want to run something by you guys.”

“Go for it,” Jericho said.

Carrera gave the guys the short version of Elwood Tosh and the toddlers in his home, finishing with, “Sin is checking with his connections at family services. We need the kids removed ASAP.”

He pulled up the pics of the little ones, handed his phone to Jericho.

“They’re adorable.” Jericho passed the phone to Hawk.

One by one, the guys looked at the pics of the children.

“They’re siblings,” Carrera said. “Owen is four, Layla is three. Their parents were killed in a car crash.”

“Lemme talk to Liv,” Jericho said. “Maybe we can foster them.”

“That’d be great,” Carrera said.

“You are gorgeous,” he said.

“I clean up well,” she deadpanned.

“Breathtaking in that dress, and I’m gonna enjoy undressing you later.”

She stepped back, gave him a slow once-over. “Nice,” she said. “You in a tux is giving me a lady boner.

Laughing, he clasped her hands. “It’s my pleasure.”

The wedding planner entered the ballroom. “Hello, beautiful people,” she called out.

When the chatter continued, Jericho’s piercing whistle silenced everyone. “Settle down.”

“Thank you,” said the planner. “Okay, so our beautiful bride is in a room nearby and our guests are anxiously awaiting. Is everyone ready?”

They were.

“Wonderful,” she said. “I need my groom and his parents. Cooper?”

Cooper, his dad—in his wheelchair—and Cooper’s mom made their way over.
