She gave him a few last pumps, then released him, stroking faster and faster, watching him glide smoothly in and out of her fist. With her free hand, she reached to pinch his nipple, twisting.

That did it. “Uhh!”

She shielded him so that he came against her other hand. The sight of it viewed from this angle always made her half-crazed with lust, and this time was no different. Jannie’s chest tightened as she watched, taking in every movement, every contraction of his abs, the way his eyelids shut tightly, the way he raised his chin, his beautiful mouth twisted in pain-pleasure-ecstasy.

Tenderly, she pumped him until he was done, relishing her ability to give him so much pleasure and being the only one allowed to bring him there.

For a long time, he didn’t move, except for his chest and abs rising and falling, his belly glistening, his arm still shielding his eyes.

He stayed like that for so long that a tiny thread of doubt crept through her mind, and she suddenly wondered if he was disappointed because she hadn’t swallowed.

“Nick?” she whispered.

Slowly, he uncovered his eyes and looked at her with a dreamy expression she had never seen before.“Been trying to think of something adequate to say.” His voice was soft. “But I keep coming back to ‘I’ll love you until I draw my last breath.’”

That was one of his wedding vows. Tears stung her eyes. “I love you, too.”

“I know, beautiful girl. I feel it every day. And you just showed me.”

And suddenly, it dawned on her: this wasn’t about control over each other, seeking pleasure, or even getting off. It was the physical connection between two souls, free of guilt, shame, or reservation. She understood that now, and as she gently cleaned Nick up and set about untying him, Jannie knew, without a doubt, that she had finally found her home.

Pilot. Friend. Teacher. Protector. Lover.

Husband.

Nick was her everything, now and forever. Her soul could finally rest because she’d found its other half.

She tossed the last tie aside, and he sat up, his eyes fire and light. “You said you didn’t know how to do this.”

Her heart full, Jannie smiled and brushed her fingertips along his jaw. “I didn’t. But I happen to have an excellent instructor.”

“Do you, now?”

She nodded. “Uh-huh.”

Pulling her on top of him, he seized her lips, kissing her until her head spun. “Well, then, Mrs. Kent. It’s time for your next lesson.”
