Not until her.

“Absolutely.” I kiss her, then shoot her a teasing smile. “A normal All-American family.”

Sebastian snorts, handing me a drink. “The kind you see in Lifetime movies.”

I bump my cup against his, laughing.

We may be abnormal, but somehow, this fits.

Violet grabs my drink and takes a long sip.

Sebastian leans over to me and murmurs, “I remember all the shit you gave me about marrying my stalker.”

I groan. “Don’t start.”

He straightens, an evil smile on his face. “Oh, it’s on, brother.”

I huff out a breath.

Violet hands me the cup, then leans over to grab some chips from the coffee table.

“You aren’t ever living this down,” Sebastian says.

I stare at him defiantly. “Bring it. Nothing makes me happier than her.”

He nods once. The teasing disappears. "That's all that matters, Drew."

He’s right.

I spent so long worrying about the wrong things.

What made sense.

What looked normal.

What was safe.

I look at Violet. She winks at me.

She was right all along.

There was never any need for me to run.

Besides...

She'd just find me anyway.
