Three sets of eyes move to my fiancée.

Violet lifts her glass, taking a slow sip. “I had a feeling.”

Of course she did.

I shake my head, a laugh breaking through everything else.

“This is my life now.”

“Yes,” Violet says calmly. “It is.”

I look around at the chaotic, intense, completely illogical life I somehow stepped into.

A slow breath leaves me.

Her eyes hold mine, unwavering.

The noise around us disappears.

Because this?

This is home.

There was never any need to run.

EPILOGUE

I openthe front door of the house that somehow went from quiet and predictable to absolute chaos in a matter of months.

Callie stands outside, grinning at me.

“Hey, Poison Ivy.” She steps inside.

“Stop calling me that.” I shut the door.

Callie ignores me and immediately hurries over to a very pregnant Luna. Violet strokes her fur as she sits on the couch beside her.

Callie sits on the other side of Luna, her long nails scratching her ears. “I can’t wait until she has these babies.”

I drag a hand down my face. “You’re way too excited about this.”

“I get first pick,” she says immediately.

“That’s already been established.”

She beams at me.

Wow.

Somehow, the psycho is happy. And I don’t know how I feel about this.

Then Violet’s eyes meet mine, and she smiles at me.

My unease disappears.

Anything to make her happy.

Sebastian and Ivy arrive moments later. Mr. Pickles strolls inside, his tail twitching like a warning siren as he watches Callie petting Luna. Always guarding his obsession.
