“Come here!” Millie pulls me into a hug. “I missed you!”

“I missed you too,” I laugh.

Wilder claps Noah on the back.“About time, man.”

The night turns into a celebration—laughter, hugs, and a brighter future. As I look around at all of them—at him—I realize something. This isn’t just a new life. It’smylife.

And for the first time, I wouldn’t change a single thing.

The house is quiet when we get back. But my eyes are on my beautiful fiancée. She’s still glowing—I swear she hasn’t stopped smiling since I put that ring on her finger.

“Stop staring at it,” I tease, dropping my keys on the table by the door.

“I can’t help it,” she shoots back, holding her hand up again. “It’s so pretty.”

“You make it pretty,” I say simply. Then I feel the need to say more. “Cammi,” I murmur, brushing a strand of hair from her face, “I’ve never been more serious about anything in my life.”

Her breath catches.

“I meant what I said. You’re it for me.”

“Okay,” she whispers.

Then she smiles again—that same bright, unforgettable smile. “I’m going to shower,” she says, backing away and heading toward the bedroom. “I still smell like the Wharf.”

I huff a quiet laugh. “Go.”

I follow her into the bedroom. The second the bathroom door closes, I move. I don’t waste time. The drawer slides open smoothly. Everything inside is exactly where I left it. New and unused. I pick up the soft restraints first, running them through my fingers briefly before setting them down on the bed.

Then the rest. Not too much. Nothing overwhelming. Blue feathers, brown velvet paddle, a vibrator, and a black silk blindfold. I know my angel will be excited.

Ever since I introduced her into the lifestyle, she’s been accepting of it all. Even wanting more.

Sometimes, I marvel at how easily she trusts me. How naturally she gives herself to me. My fists clench. I’d burn the world before I ever broke that trust.

For now, I focus on creating the right mood. I set the lights low and soft. Everything is ready.

I step back just as the bathroom door opens. Cammi walks out, towel barely wrapped around her, hair damp, skin still flushed from the heat. Then she sees the bed.

Her eyes light up instantly. Exactly like I knew they would.

“You’ve been busy,” she says, voice softer now.

“Maybe,” I reply, watching her closely.

She steps closer to the bed slowly, fingertips brushing over the restraints, curiosity all over her face.

“You like it?” I ask.

She glances at me over her shoulder, a mischievous little smile forming. “Yes, Daddy.”

That’s all I need. I crook a finger. “Come here first.”

She comes, towel still clutched at her chest. I take the edge of it and let it drop, baring her to me. Her breath catches.
