“Ooo. You know imma choose the grill every time. Before I forget, how’d things go at the daycare?” Blessing said, shifting her body to face me. When I pulled up to her facility, I told herthat Sage got bitten, but I didn’t go into detail. Even though the situation wasn’t a big deal, I knew I needed to tell her about running into Kynnedi.

“Long story short, a little boy bit her. You see the bruise. I snapped at the director because she shouldn’t have been around the older kids unsupervised. I told her Sage will be withdrawn.”

“Yeah, that’s ridiculous. Thanks for stepping in while I was in a meeting. I’m definitely withdrawing her. I’m not working right now anyway, she can stay home with one of us.”

“You know I don’t mind watching her while you’re handling business at the facility. That’s not all, though. The parent of the boy bursts into the meeting, and guess who the fuck it was.”

“Who?” She asked, eyebrows raised.

“Kynnedi.”

She paused for a moment, then shook her head. “Of course it was.”

I chuckled. “Don’t start, Bless.”

“I’m not starting anything.” She said quickly, holding her hands up. “I’m just saying, what are the fucking odds?”

“That’s not even the worst part.”

“Oh gosh. What else?”

“She named the lil nigga Lorenzo.”

Blessing burst into laughter. She laughed so hard, her eyes filled with tears.

I sucked my teeth. “That shit ain’t that funny, Bless.”

“It literally is. What the fuck do you do to these bitches? Dick ain’t even that good.”

“It ain’t?”

“Nah.”

I could feelSaint’s eyes on me as I rummaged through my closet. The worst part of going on vacation is packing for the trip. “You know I could’ve just bought you clothes for the trip.” He said, walking up behind me. I could feel his hard dick pressed up against my bare ass.

“Nope. Saint move!” I spun around and shoved him back. He chuckled and grabbed my arms. Taking a seat on the ottoman, he pulled me into his lap. “I don’t need new clothes. I have shit in here I’ve never worn. Plus, you just spent a band on clothes for the girls. I’m fine, Papa.”

“Aight, Bless. I ain’t gone beg you to spend this bread.” He gazed down at me, eyes filled with something unexplainable. “You can’t expect me not to touch on you when you’re walking around with your ass swallowing that thong. I ain’t never wanted to be a pair of panties so bad.”

I sucked my teeth and mushed him. “You’re disgusting.”

“Seriously, though, before we go on vacation, I think we need to have a conversation. We haven’t really talked about what happened. I wanna lay everything out. So whatever you’ve got to get off your chest, speak now.”

I sighed and switched positions so I could straddle him. “There’s not much more for me to say. You were dead ass wrong for keeping that shit from me and allowing me to be friends with a bitch you used to fuck. Bitch walkin’ around talkin’ about I stole her spot. I never gave side bitch. I don’t know what spot she thought she had.” I rolled my eyes, getting annoyed just thinking about it. When Messiah told me all the shit she said, I was baffled. That bitch is delusional, and she needs a straitjacket.

“On my daddy, I fucked her less than ten times. She was just something to do when I was single and on breaks with Mariah. I never gave her the impression that we were anything more than fuck buddies. I might’ve sent her money a few times, bought her a lil bag, but that was it.”

“And that right there is why she thought she was yours. Can’t be out here trickin’ on bitches and expect them not to catch feelings. Trick ass nigga.”

“You don’t complain when you swipin’ the strip off that Amex though.”

“And don’t. For real though, don’t ever play in my fucking face like that again.” I trailed my hand up his chest until I reached his neck and gave it a slight squeeze. “I’m not mentally stable enough to deal with shit like that.”

His breath hitched as his dick jumped underneath me. “Chill. I’m trying to give that pussy a break.” He smacked my ass before grabbing a handful. “I learned my lesson. I ain’t tryna end up like the last two security guards.”

“You’re so stupid.” I laughed and mushed him.

“Why you ain’t tell me, Bless? I know that shit happened before me, but still.”
