His face turned deathly pale.
"No... that's impossible."
His hands trembled violently as he replayed the video over and over again, unable to accept what he was seeing.
Juliet had gotten married.
And she hadn't come back for him.
She hadn't stopped his wedding.
She had chosen another man.
"Juliet..." he whispered brokenly.
The next second, Vincent completely lost control.
Ignoring the shocked guests, he shoved past everyone and ran out of the wedding hall.
"Vincent!" Alexa screamed, instantly chasing after him.
She grabbed his arm outside. "Stop! Where are you going?"
"Let go of me!" Vincent roared, violently shaking her off.
"Are you insane?" Alexa hissed through gritted teeth. "The ceremony is still going on! If you leave now, you'll ruin everything!"
"I don't care!" Vincent shouted, his eyes bloodshot. "I have to see Juliet!"
Realizing she could no longer hide the truth, Alexa's expression darkened.
"If you walk away now," she threatened coldly, "don't blame me for what happens next."
But Vincent acted as though he hadn't heard a single word. He rushed toward his car and sped away.
Inside the hall, the guests had already begun whispering among themselves. Alexa could feel countless mocking and curious gazes directed at her.
Humiliated beyond measure, Alexa clenched her fists so hard that her nails dug painfully into her palms.
There was no way she would allow Vincent to go to Juliet.
Without wasting another second, Alexa hurried to her car and sped after him, following him all the way to Juliet and Cassian's wedding venue.
By the time she arrived, Vincent had already rushed inside.
Furious, Alexa quickly got out of her car and stormed into the lavish banquet hall.
However, the moment she stepped through the entrance, someone abruptly shoved a stack of dirty dinner plates into her hands.
"Where have you been?" a supervisor barked angrily. "Everyone else is busy working while you're slacking off! Hurry up and clear those tables!"
Alexa staggered back, almost dropping the plates.
"What are you doing?" she snapped, horrified. "Do you even know who I am?"
The woman rolled her eyes impatiently. "I don't care who you are. Stop wasting time and get back to work."
Only then did Alexa notice something strange.
