“I’m awake,” I said, yawning.

Owen put an arm around me and snuggled close. “You keep doing that, and we’re going to get complexes.”

I stroked my hand through his hair. “Sorry. I don’t mean to keep zoning out on you.”

Owen laughed. “I mean, we’re going to think that our cocks are magic. After all, if we’re constantly giving you visions and prophecies, it must mean we’re really good in bed.”

“Jerk,” I said lovingly.

He kissed me as the others gathered around me. Killian started to rub my feet. “What did you see this time?” he asked.

“We’re going to be okay. The pack is going to have love and prosperity. We’re going to reach new levels of unification, and our future is bright. But the valley is still in danger from the darkness.”

All four of them looked grim at that news. They pressed tighter. Owen put his arms around me, Killian moved so my feet were fully in his lap, Jace took my hand, and Renz draped himself over Owen and me both to lay his head on my stomach.

“Did you see what town is going to be targeted next?” Owen asked.

I shook my head. “I did, but I didn’t recognize it. What I do know is what I felt. The darkness is learning from every defeat. It’s going to get worse.” As the heaviness fell over us, I shook my head again. “We must trust the Goddess. She knows what is happening. She’s been giving me these visions for a reason, and she showed me our happiness for a reason. We must keep faith. I firmly believe that we in Tyrell will not be touched by the darkness again.”

“I think so, too. Even when there was the fire between us and Burgess, the flames never reached fully into their territory,” Jace said. “We just have to be ready to help our neighbors when the time comes.”

“There’s something else, too.” I sat up in the bed and smiled at all of them. “I wasn’t sure, but this vision showed me the truth. Our first child is going to be a boy. And he’s already on his way.”

I touched my stomach. Instantly, my four mates gathered closer. They kissed me, laughed, welcomed our unborn baby, and congratulated me and each other. Warmth filled me all the way through. This was what I wanted. A home. A family. Peace.

Life was good.
