I cross my ankles and lean back on my hands, slowly swinging my legs back and forth as I watch him.

He points his thumb over his shoulder towards my glass of wine. “Did you want a top-up?”

“Please, but I can do it.” I try to get down from the counter, but he shakes his head.

“No, stay.”

He retrieves the bottle from the fridge.

“Do you have ice, by any chance?” I ask.

“Yeah.” He holds the glass up to the opening on the door of his fridge and presses a button.

“Oh, how the other half live,” I say, smiling as it dispenses ice into the glass.

“The amenities came with the apartment,” he says as he tops up my glass with Rosé and holds it out to me. “It comes in handy.”

“Thank you,” I reply, and go to take the glass from him, but he brings it to his lips, eyes on me as he takes a slow, leisurely sip. Something about that is so intimate and has my heart racing.

“Hmm, sweet and fruity, just like you,” he says, licking his lips before handing me the glass.

“I can imagine it’s not your drink of choice.” I mimic his actions, raising the glass to my mouth and taking a sip, all the while keeping my eyes fixed on Tobias.

“No, but it reminds me of you, and that’s always a good thing.”

I don’t know how to react when he says things like that, but thankfully, he’s distracted by the stir fry. I’m left to ogle his biceps as he reaches for the handle and tosses the contents like a pro.

“Like what you see?” he questions over his shoulder, a knowing smirk on his face.

“Very much.”

“Good, because likewise.”

And just like that, my stomach erupts with butterflies.

I’m in serious trouble.

Chapter 11

Tobias

If she carries on staring at me like that, then the only thing she’ll be eating is my cock again.

“You’re trouble, you know that, right?”

She smiles and slowly sips her wine while I cook the stir-fry.

“So, how is your new job?” I ask, curious to know if she’s enjoying it. She’s always wanted to work in fashion photography.

Her face lights up at my question. “It’s brilliant. Long days, but I love it.”

She continues to tell me a little about her new job, and I soak up every word. There’s something truly endearing about listening to how passionate she is about it, too.

I reach into the cabinet above her head for some bowls.

“Here, shall I go set the table?”she asks.

I move back, and she hops down off the counter, her tits wobbling under the fabric of my t-shirt, sticking to her slightly where it’s so damn hot in here. I swear she’s a silent killer because she really will be the death of me. Everything about her lures me in, and she’s not even aware. Maybe she’s a siren, but whatever she is, I know without a doubt Rainbow is meant to be mine.
