“I won’t,” he says before sucking my tongue into his mouth.
The climax builds until I can’t hold back any longer.
My release comes hard and fast. I scream out his name on a drawn-out moan. When I start to come back to reality, I look up at him, wide-eyed, then hide my face into his chest.
“Oi, don’t shy away from me,” he says, leaning back and reaching for my chin.
“I don’t know what came over me,” I say.
“Well, I’d say you came over me,” he says with a small chuckle.
“Oliver.”
He kisses the tip of my nose. “It was beautiful to watch,” he says, lust in his eyes.
I can’t help but smile. “Looks like we’ll be staying in tonight,” he says, eying the washing machine.
I nod. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be. That was the best greeting I’ve ever had,” he says, his grin wicked.
“Bet you say that to all the girls,” I reply, trailing the ink of his tattoo with my finger.
“Nope, only you.”
I can’t stop the grin which spreads across my face. We’ve not slept together yet, but I think tonight will change that. “Do you mind if I jump in the shower?”
“Depends…can I join you?” he asks, wiggling his eyebrows.
My smile drops—not at the thought of taking a shower with him—but the idea of him seeing all my imperfections.
“What’s wrong? I was only half-joking…”
I sigh and shake my head. “Olly, I’ve had a baby—my body, it’s well, it’s…”
He hooks his finger under my chin until I make eye contact with him. “Your body, just like you, is gorgeous, Rachel. Don’t be so hard to judge. You don’t see what I see. You are beautiful.”
I almost want to cry. What is wrong with me? He tickles my sides, and I let out an un-ladylike squawk as I slip off the counter and wriggle, pushing him away from me. He smiles. “I’ll order takeaway. You go have that shower.”
I nod and head for the bathroom, peering back over my shoulder. “You have something else to do first.”
He looks up from his phone, half a smile. “Oh, yeah and what’s that?”
“Come and wash my back,” I say, hoping I sound more confident than I feel.
I look ahead and walk to the bathroom, the sound of his footsteps close behind me.
Chapter Twenty-Eight
OLLY
I follow her and inhale as we enter her small bathroom. She reaches into the bath, turns on the shower head, and pulls the shower curtain half-closed.
“Rachel,” I say. Her shoulders move up and down before she turns towards me. “I don’t want you doing anything you’re not ready for.” I stroke her cheek.
She bites her lip. “I want to, but ...” She wraps her arms around herself. “It’s been a while,” she says, looking up at me.
“And that’s a problem because?”
