She hummed her agreement.She looked over her shoulder and caught Jon’s expression.A tearing pain swept through her at the cold look of disappointment on his face.She was unable to stop the tears that sprang from her eyes and slid down her cheeks.She covered her face as sobs tore from her.
The men shared a concerned glance.
“Why are you crying, baby?”Jon whispered in her ear as his arms surrounded her.
She shook her head and tore out of his arms.
“Mina, stop right there,” Jon demanded, and relaxed when she stopped immediately.“Turn around.”His jaw tightened at the despair on her face.“Tell us what’s wrong?”
She looked from one to the other.“I shouldn’t be here,” she murmured through her tears.
“Why are you saying that, pet?”Koa asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
She shook her head and wrapped her arms around her waist.“I’m not good at being a sub, and you guys deserve a good one.”
“What makes you think you’re a bad sub, baby?”Jon asked.
“Because I keep messing up.You both told me to stay out of this room, and I disobeyed you because I was curious.A good sub wouldn’t disobey her Doms.”
The men shared a quick smile while her head was bowed.
Jon took the few steps to stand by Koa and copied his Dominant pose.“What if we told you we set it up so you would come in here?”
Mina’s tear-filled eyes sprang to Jon.“No, you didn’t.”
Both men nodded.
Her face contorted in confusion.“How?Why?”
“Because you try so hard to be what you think we want you to be.You’re hiding your true personality from us,” Jon stated.
“Besides the fact you’re giving us no reason to punish you,” Koa surmised.
Her mouth fell open.“But I thought you wanted me to be a good sub?”
The men closed the space in between them and Mina and flanked her.
Koa placed a finger under her chin and tilted her head up.
“We want you.We want the spirit you’ve tried to hide from us.We’ve caught glimpses of it, and we also like to punish little subs for their digressions.”
“But why?”
“The same reason you like to be spanked, pet,” Koa replied.He waited and watched as realization and understanding bloomed in her expression.
“So, I’m not bad,” she asked with a twinkle in her eyes.
Koa grunted.“No, baby.We think you’re a very good girl, and we couldn’t be happier with you.”
“I’m a good sub, but you guys are bad Doms?”
She bit her tongue to keep from laughing at the twin look of surprise on the guys’ faces.
“Why do you say that?”Jon asked.
“Because you trapped me into being naughty,” she said simply and then crossed her arms over her chest like she’d seen them do a hundred times.
Koa’s eyebrows shot up.“You really want to go there again?”
