“I’m not sure how I feel about my boyfriend needing to wear my dress to get it up,” she quips.

I accept the challenge in her eyes and spring from the bed, crossing to stand behind her and pinning her against the vanity with my hips.

“Does that feel like Ineedto wear a dress?” I taunt, rubbing my crotch against her delicious ass and running my hands over all her curves.

“Kalen,” she says in a breathy moan. “We don’t have time for this.”

“I’ll be quick,” I lie, sliding my hand up her thigh.

“Adrianne will be here in a minute, she knows where the party is.”

“Let’s ditch her…” I say nuzzling into her neck. “I’m a one man party anyway, and think of all the orgasms that you’re overdue.”

She moans and pushes back against my crotch, righting herself just as the damn door opens.

“Ugh, you have three other fine-ass men, can’t we get rid of that one?” Adrianne complains, her nose wrinkles up in disgust. I take in her outfit and smirk. Black jeans with rips at the knees, her famous combat boots, a Metallica shirt tied up at the front and a leather jacket. Even her makeup is as dark as her outfit.

I’m glad my girl is wearing a dress, hanging out with Elsie has started to rub off on her, and with all the legs and tits and curves and ass I’m getting to see, I’m not complaining.

I admit, at the start of the school year, Elsie used to get on my damn nerves but our banter was all in fun. Now though, I would class her as a friend. She’s been good to Amelie and she needs those people in her corner.

Which is why I took care of Marcia. Jasper was never going to be okay with watching his girlfriend interact with her ex every day, no matter how cool he likes to play it. And even if theyhooked up over Easter break – God knows why – I wasn’t so willing to forget that little stunt she pulled on Elsie with the smoke. It wasn’t enough that her sister’s engagement to some big shot got called off, I felt Marcia needed to suffer too. Hence having a few medical records falsified and sent to her parents, who pulled their daughter out of school for being a dirty little skank.

Usually students don’t get to leave so easily but I called in a favour with Daddy dearest on this one. For Amelie and for Elsie too. Because I’m loyal like that. If Adrianne would let her guard down just a little she could have that kind of loyalty, support and friendship too.

I hold so much guilt over not stepping up and taking the blame with what happened. It was always the plan. I wanted to be sent here, and in the end I was, but I let her take the heat because my father made me.

Saving her ass was of no use to him when he needed someone to take the fall. I hired someone from within The Order to make sure she always had a shitty ass job and a place to stay, but her damn attitude screwed that up so many times and cost me so many favours. Being a founding family member means it’s not wise to owe out a lot of favours. It makes us look a certain way. We want people to owe them to us.

Clicking in my face gets me to snap out of it. “Huh?” I blink, realising Amelie has moved away and Adrianne is the one snapping her fingers at me.

“I said, are you ready to go, princess? We don’t have all night.”

“Onyx and Slate are meeting us downstairs, and I have to grab Elsie on my way out. Jasper is coming with us off the clock and Cap will be on duty,” Amelie informs me. “And I’ve been trying to get hold of Baxter but as usual he is MIA.”

Her big brown eyes look so sad when she thinks about Branson. I’ve definitely started to realise he isn’t so bad. I can’t even remember why we all stopped being friends. I decide to use bribery tactics to see if I can get him to agree.

Amelie

Tonight...Party...Non Negotiable.

Branson

No.

Amelie

We have secrets, remember, and my lips may start getting loose…

Branson

I will cut off your lips and sew them to your ass if that happens.

Amelie

If you sew them to Amelie's ass, then it’s a deal.

He doesn’t reply as we exit Amelie’s room so I try a different route.
