Regina sighed. “No way. He only likes Italian or American food, so we either go out for pasta or steaks.”

A smile curved her lips. “Next time we go out to dinner, it’ll be Alfonso’s.”

“Sounds great.” Regina looked over her shoulder. “I better get back out there to help at the counter. Do you want me to wrap up your dinner?”

“I can do it. I’ll see you tomorrow night.”

An hour later, Angie put the container on the counter, snagged a wine glass from the cupboard, poured herself a generous portion of Chianti, and walked into the family room with dinner and drink in hand. She kicked off her heels, then sank into the couch and switched on the TV. Images flickered by as she stared at the screen, but her mind was on a dark-haired biker. Angie pushed aside the spaghetti dinner, realizing that she wasn’t hungry. The truth was that she’d gone to the deli in hopes of seeing Crow again, and she didn’t likethatone bit. But why not? Why was she fighting an attraction to him? Just because she thought he was handsome and sexy didn’t mean she had to pursue a relationship with him. Even the fact that he might, in a small way, intrigue her didn’t mean she wanted to date him. Right? So, it was time to stop acting like an idiot, accept that she was attracted to him, and move the hell on.

It was simple. Now she could push him out of her thoughts.

Simple.

Yeah, right.
