“We need to look for him,” Eagle said.

“Form a search party,” Scorpio added.

“And lay a trap for this pussy shadow man. Then we’ll let him die slowly under our hands,” Brutus said.

“All in favor of searching for Jim, sayaye,” Paco said.

A resounding “Aye” from all the men reverberated through the room.

Steel glanced at Crow. “You’re in charge of this.”

“We should put it out to the public,” Aztec said. “The more involvement, the better.”

“I can get Brenda to post flyers around the Sheriff’s department,” Brutus said.

Crow nodded. “That’s good. Tap the citizens you know, the businesses, and anyone else who might be helpful. I’ll get the flyers printed and distributed.”

“I’ll hit up the Fallen Slayers, Grave Fiends, and Iron Jesters to help out,” Army said.

“Sounds like we got this,” Eagle said.

A surge of pride swelled up in Crow’s chest. His brothers’ undying support was a testimony to what the club was all about: love, loyalty, honor, and respect. He knew the MC would always be there no matter what happened in life. Being an outlaw biker was more than riding a Harley; it was something no citizen could ever understand. The brotherhood was something each Night Rebel felt in his heart and soul.

“We got a lot of shit to do,” Eagle said as they entered the main room.

“Yeah. I want to get a search party together in the next few days,” Crow said.

“Saturdays and Sundays are the best days for citizens.” Aztec scooped up a handful of pretzels and popped one in his mouth.

“What’s going on? You all sound so excited,” Fina said as she curled her fingers around Aztec’s arm.

“We’re putting together a search party for a buddy of ours,” Crow replied.

“Is he missing in the mountains? I read about a guy who went hiking and never came back. Is that the one?”

“No.” Crow picked up the cold beer bottle and took a long drink. “Jim’s been living on the streets for a long time.”

The club girl’s eyes widened. “I hope the shadow man didn’t hurt him.”

“That’s what we’re aiming to find out,” Eagle said.

“Can us girls go on the search too?”

“Sure.” Crow put the amber bottle on the bar. “One of the brothers will let you all know when this is happening.”

“I hope he’s okay.”

Aztec tipped his head down and kissed her. “We do too.” He shoved a few more pretzels in his mouth and chomped loudly.

Crow glanced at the clock on the wall next to the pool table. “I gotta go.”

The gravel crunched underneath his feet as he walked to his motorcycle. Since the previous week's incident, he’d meet Angie after work and follow her back to the hotel to ensure her safety. If he had to work, Ink or Vegas would take his spot.

As he rode toward town, the only thing on his mind was his sweet, sexy woman, and that was the way he liked it.

“I’ll placeflyers around the office and talk it up. I hope Jim is all right,” Angie said, her nails lightly tracing up his arm and across his shoulders.

“The more people we have, the bigger the search area.” Crow’s fingertips brushed the side of one of her breasts, and he smiled when she shivered.
