“Aaron,” my name falls from her lips as she shivers and I know she is there.

Driving forward I lean in and kiss her lips, biting her lip and giving it a tug. She feels so good, but with Kendall each time feels like the first. She never holds back, always giving as good as she gets.

“Don’t stop,” she pants and I push inside of her deep, moving and hitting the spot that I know with throw her over the edge. She spirals, her nails digging into my shoulders.

“Oh my God, yes!” she screams and I let go, my body falling forward and we lose control together. My toes curl, she shifts her hips and my thighs tingle.

I swear I see spots.

Silence fills the room as the two of us regain our composure.

“Move in with me,” I say without thinking twice and she doesn’t respond. Laying over her, both of us breathing, she says nothing.

Bracing the weight of my body on my elbows I look down at her and she is worrying her lip.

“You are practically living here already, and I’m not going to lie, I’ve loved it. Coming home knowing you’ll be here too. I hate when you stay at your place, it feels so empty here.”

“It’s too fast,” she says and I try not to react.

“Are you saying that you don’t like waking up to me?”

“I’m saying that we’ve gone from me running in the opposite direction to spending at least five nights a week in the same bed. Moving in with one another this quick may complicate things.”

“Complicate things how?” I roll to the side and she rolls with me. Reaching she drags her hand over my hair. “It’s the buzz cut right?”

“I do prefer a little something to tug on,” she says playfully.

“It’ll grow back baby, then you can tug as hard as you want,” I tease, leaning to kiss her jaw. She turns, catching my lips with hers and I get lost in the kiss for a little bit before I remember there was a question she was dodging.

“Are you telling me no?”

“I’m telling you that I think we should wait.”

I pull back and look at her.

“Aaron, I,” she pauses taking a deep breath, “I love you.”

“And I love you too,” I say, wondering where she is going with this.

“All I am saying is that we don’t have to rush, the way things are is good.”

I nod.

“Hey.” She cups my jaw. “Don’t do that, don’t look away. This is not me telling you no, this is me saying let’s wait and revisit when my lease comes closer to an end.”

“And that’s when?”

“November.”

“Four months,” I say and she nods.

“Until then we can keep doing things the way we are. Who knows by then, you may be ready to get rid of me and go chase after Chelsea.” I am hurt, but do my best to hide it as I reach out and start to tickle her side.

“Keep this shit up and I might just get up, get dressed, and chase after her now.”

When Kendall reaches out to pinch my side I grab her hands and pin her arms above her head as I crawl over her once more. “Is this running?” I ask, feeling a familiar burn of fear in my chest and she looks at me, her eyes softening.

“No,” she says, holding my stare. “No more running, this is only me making sure we do this right. I don’t want to mess up with you, Aaron. I don’t want to regret missing out on this part of things with you.”
