“Dirty it up, huh?” We toasted to our new home, wordlessly, and I sipped tentatively. “What did you have in mind?”

“Hmm. Eat food on the floor? Tear off our clothes and roll around? Drink margaritas in the hot tub?”

“Sounds incredible.”

“And have sex in as many places as possible, obviously.”

I grinned. “Sounds even better.”

After we ate our dinner on the floor, we made blender margaritas. The kitchen had been stocked with everything we needed to make them; frothy and refreshing strawberry margaritas, with premium tequila and sugared rims.

Dane carried our platter of burning candles into the enclosed pool room. Yeah, we had an indoor pool.

Then we stripped down to our birthday suits for the hot tub portion of the evening.

We had a view of trees through the big windows into our dark backyard, sky and even some stars… and it was perfectly fucking amazing.

“So, you had us stocked with margarita glasses and a blender,” I teased, as we sank into the water, “and twirly straws, but you couldn’t have had a bed brought in? I would’ve settled for an inflatable mattress. Anything so we could sleep here tonight. It would’ve been so fun.”

“Definite oversight,” he agreed. “Actually, the bed is all set up.”

“What!”

“It’s upstairs. In our bedroom.” Dane sipped his margarita innocently. “What, you thought I’d let my wife sleep on a hard floor? Or go back to the penthouse, after getting all relaxed and naked in this hot tub?”

My jaw was hanging open, so I forced it shut. “I didn’t think we’d get to stay here tonight…”

“Of course we do. This is our home now.”

Damn it.He was blowing me away again. He kept doing that lately. And not just with money stuff. Flowers. Sweet little handwritten notes. Lovey dovey texts.

“I never knew I was such a romantic…” I muttered in a daze.

He laughed.

I raised my drink. “To sleeping in our new home.”

He tapped his glass to mine. “Also,” he said after we sipped, “there’s music. Check your Wi-Fi settings. Put on whatever you want.”

I grabbed my phone from the towel I’d left it on at the side of the hot tub and opened my Wi-Fi settings, and sure enough, he’d gotten me all connected. I was online… and my phone had found a bunch of speakers to pair with. “I have speakers!”

“Turn it up, then,” he said, settling back in the tub.

“I’m in love with you right now,” I mumbled as I went searching through my music. I found RiRi and put on “Rude Boy.” Then I sank back with a satisfied sigh as music emanated from the hidden speakers.

“Just right now?” Dane inquired, watching me with a faint smile on his face.

“Yes. Right now,” I teased, my eyes drifting closed. “Just fell in love with you… ten seconds ago.”

When he was silent, I opened my eyes. He was smiling at me, watching me across the hot tub. I drifted my legs toward him under the water and tucked my feet between his thighs. He wrapped a hand around my calf.

“Do you prefer rock or hip-hop?” I asked him suddenly. “Or rap or pop or what? You never seem to listen to music much. I’m always the one putting it on.”

“If I had to pick… rock.”

“Think carefully about this one. Beyoncé or Rihanna?”

“Beyon… Rihanna?”
