“Do you want to go back to how we were before and have a visit every week, or are you okay with once a month?”

“I’m still okay with once a month and emergency sessions when needed. Everything is okay, just have people trying to kill me for loving Blaize.” I laughed gently. “Sorry. Bad joke. I amokay. I promise. Therapy. You. It’s helped me a lot. I never thought I’d be the one to say therapy is amazing, but here we are.”

“Is there anything else you want to talk about?”

I bit my lip. “You know how Blaize has her best friend? Hunter.” She nodded. “She was with Everly. Kink wise, but I think she fell in love. I know how she shows her emotions and it’s the same way Blaize does.”

“Are you wanting to sleep with her?”

“With Blaize, too. I love Blaize. She is my person, but I have an attraction to Hunter. I just…I feel guilty, but I also know Blaize wouldn’t mind because I heard rumors about her and Hunter sharing Blaize’s wife before.”

“Do you want Hunter to be in your relationship?”

I shook my head. Blaize and I weren’t how Annika and her guys were. We only wanted each other, but I wasn’t shy with sex. Now that I had a domme who let me experiment, I wanted to try things, and I knew I always wanted a threesome with two dominant women. The two of them together would be electrifying.

“I just want sex with Hunter, but it works because Hunter told me she doesn’t date.”

She crossed her leg over the other and folded her hands together. “Then talk with Blaize and let her know your wants and feelings. If you want to add extra heat to help Hunter, then do it, but don’t do it just to make her feel better. Sex might be a good distraction for people, but don’t let it be a form of self-harm.”

“I know. I think it’s something we all want. It’s just bad timing with everything that happened.”

I would talk to Blaize when I saw her again, but I knew she had a lot on her plate. Tonight though, I had a bestie date with my best girl.

When Annika saw my face,I saw her demeanor change and she was ready to find the person who did it. She stopped hating Blaize as much when she saw how genuinely happy I was, and she knew Blaize wouldn’t hurt me again. Not like this. I mean the sex that we liked might be rough and I bruised easily, but it wouldn’t be on my throat. The only marks I liked on my throat were hickies.

“What the fuck happened?” she screeched, grabbing my face and inspecting the bruising on my nose and on my throat.

“Uhm, you might want to sit down for this.” Annika huffed, which told me all that I needed. “Everly told Dominic where I was, and he was waiting for me in one of the private rooms.”

All four of them looked at me. “Excuse me?!” they all exclaimed.

“Yeah. Turns out she’s the person causing issues. She got into Hunter’s iPad. I’m assuming she learned who I was and about Dom when she would stay with Hunter.”

I looked at Drew whose face softened slightly. “She…Is she okay?”

I sighed. If anyone knew how to comfort her, it would be him. “I really don’t know. She’s hurting. She loved Everly.”

“I’m going to find the bitch and kill her,” Drew hissed. “Hunter doesn’t let people in…she pushes and deflects. Everly made Hunter feel something.”

I touched his shoulder. “Go talk to your sister.”

Drew kissed Annika before he grabbed his keys and quickly left the house. I was glad Hunter had her brother. “Is he done investigating that church?”

Annika’s lip trembled. “I don’t know.” Noah wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him. “He says he stopped, but I don’t think he did. He’s being secretive about things. I’m scared he’s going to get hurt or those people will learn Hunter is alive.”

“Maybe Hunter can knock some sense into him,” I offered. “Now, movie night? I missed my best girl.”

CHAPTER 63

BLAIZE

Ipulled up to Hunter’s house when I got back to Briarwood. Kadence was staying with Annika tonight, and wanted to do something special tomorrow that involved me in a private room waiting for her at the club. I had my own surprise for her, as well, and we would have a date tomorrow evening after her surprise.

Hunter was on her couch nursing a bottle of water with a bottle of tequila in front of her. I couldn’t tell if she was drunk or if she was crying. It might be a combination of both. “Are you okay?”

“I feel like there is a serrated knife in my heart. Feelings are for the fucking birds,” she scoffed. “I. Hate. This.”

“I would say it gets better, but heartbreak of any kind stings.”
