Bianca smiles. “Sure thing, Leo,” and scribbles something on the guest list.
As we walk outside, I’m puzzled. What was that all about? Leo glances at me and he can see the question on my face.
“It’s for your protection, lass. You shouldn’t leave parties with unfamiliar guys, or if you do, make sure someone knows.”
My eyes widen, and I stumble over nothing. My crown flies off my head into the grass. He quickly steadies me so I don’t fall flat on my face and then he retrieves my crown. I blush as I take it from him and set it on my head.

He takes my hand and I thread my fingers through his, leaning closer as we walk to his car. “Then it’s good we found each other. I wasn’t sure if I was going to fuck anyone tonight. I thought I’d just have fun watching until I saw you.”
