My Freeuse Entanglement
Book 3
April Cross
Chapter 1
The bedroom door closes behind us, and the click of the latch sounds way too loud.
Leo moves past me toward the bed, and the lamplight catches the silver threading through his dark hair. I have the wildly inappropriate thought that a man old enough to be my father has no business looking that good. Then he’s behind me, his hand finding my hip with a possessive familiarity that makes my breath catch. Dane is in front of me, close enough that the sandalwood on his skin hits me in waves, so different from Leo’s oranges that my brain short-circuits trying to process both at once.
Two men who both want me. I asked Leo if he’d share me when Dane visited, after I fantasized about two men at once. Leolistened and said, “Dane’s someone I’d trust with you, lass. If that’s what you want.”
I’d never met Dane before today. It hadn’t even occurred to me to worry about whether I’d be attracted to him. Turns out the universe decided to hand me two ridiculously hot older men, which is not the kind of luck I’m used to. I’m not about to question it.
Holy hell, my heart is hammering so hard I’m surprised they can’t hear it.
“Breathe, lass.” Leo’s voice is low against my ear. The command settles me the way he always does, and I pull in a shaky breath, even though it doesn’t do much to help.
Dane stands in front of me, studying me. The patience in his expression does something strange to my insides. It’s not butterflies, more like a slow tightening, a pull low in my belly that makes me want to press my thighs together. He’s Leo’s college friend, and he just arrived for his annual Christmas visit. He watches me like he has all the time in the world and he’s decided to spend it figuring me out.
Does he find me attractive?
“I’d like a few minutes alone with her.” Dane’s voice is quiet and directed at Leo, but his gaze stays locked on mine. “If that’s all right with you.”
The request catches me off guard. Leo trusts him and I trust Leo, but what does Dane want to say to me?
“Aye.” Leo presses his lips to my shoulder. “I’ll be right outside. You remember your words, lass?”
“Red to stop. Yellow to slow down.”
“Good girl.” He squeezes my hip before stepping away. The loss of his warmth makes me shiver, and I have to fight the urge to reach for him. I’m not sure I realized until this moment how much he’s become my anchor, but I want this with Dane.
Two months ago, I was a girl in a cheap duplex who’d never even been to a sex party, and now I’m standing in Leo’s mansion on Christmas Eve, naked under this dress, about to let his best friend fuck me.
If someone had told me this would be my life, I’d have laughed so hard.
Leo closes the door behind him, and I’m alone with Dane. I’m hyperaware of my lack of panties and exactly how wet I am already. I might combust as soon as he touches me.
Dane takes a step closer. He’s not aggressive or rushed. He moves with a deliberateness that makes me feel like every second is a choice he’s making on purpose.
“You’re nervous,” he says.
“A little.” My voice comes out steadier than I expected. “But I want this.”
His hand comes up, and his fingers brush the underside of my jaw, tilting my face toward him. His touch is unhurried, nothing like Leo’s immediate heat.
“Leo’s told me what you like and how you respond. But I want to learn that for myself.”
Heat flashes through my belly. He’s not going to follow Leo’s playbook. He wants to figure me out himself.
Fuuuuck. Okay.
“How?” I ask, breathlessly.
He gives me an almost-smile that I suspect is habitual. “Close your eyes.”
I hesitate for half a second, then obey. Everything else gets louder. My breathing is too fast. The fabric of the dress pulls against my breasts, and my nipples harden.
