“I was lucky to have our mother longer than Tye, I feel like it was my duty to ensure he didn’t turn out like our father, the cold bastard, not as if he could, he inherited more of our Mum anyway,” Mack sighs, smiling.

“He threatened to disown you. I didn’t want that to happen. I didn’t know about him so I went along with his intentions. Should I not have done that?” I ask, feeling bad about the whole punishment thing.

“Oh he needs to punish, I’m sure that is his kink. He gets an unhinged amount of satisfaction from ensuring mistakes are rectified. If we hadn’t gone through with it, life would have become much harder. I prefer for everyone at this table to avoid that at any cost. You did right, Sophie. I hate to say that but, by us taking our punishment, we will drop off his radar, there will be no full force of his wrath. We have balanced the scales again.”

“What about seeing him, he said he wanted to talk?”

“He cannot be persuaded. It’s you or him, we already know that,” says Tye who doesn’t sound displeased with the ultimatum. Just accepting.

“Jesus, it doesn’t sound like much negotiation happens in his house,” I reply, put out by the callousness of their father.

“Only if it’s in his favour. So yeah, we won’t be meeting or discussing it unless he has a heart or personality transplant. It is what it is. We’ve had many years to accept it. In the end, I’mjust happy neither me nor Tye inherited whatever fucked up view he has on life.”

“I’ll say,” replies Rory who has been listening intently to Mack and Tye’s story of their childhood.

“Our mother was an amazing woman, we don’t know how she ever got involved with him. But he was softer when she was around. So maybe things were not so bad.”

“Will your business be ok now you can’t use the Clarendon for networking, Tye?” I ask, which makes him laugh.

“I tapped that goldmine for the past three years. I’m set for life,” he grins back at us.

“And you, Mack, how will it affect you?”

“I won’t be able to drive you to jobs, should you continue to take them,” he says regrettably. “They will replace me. But I was lucky to have that job for two and a half years. My father did allow that and I’m grateful for it.”

“You won’t need the income?”

“I haven’t needed the income since I started,” he smiles smugly back at me. “I just wanted to be near you.”

“How about you, Sophie? How do you feel about the Clarendon now?” asks Rory and all my men look back at me.

“Well, up until today, I thought the sun shone out of their arses,” I laugh and continue, “I really love working there, I want to continue if you guys don’t mind it. I will just stay in the cafe with Casey until I’m ready to take playmate jobs again, if I’ll ever be ready to take them again.”

“You will be, should you want to,” says Rory. “The Clarendon is still safe as it was. There are no more rules to break.”

“Are you sad you were kicked out?” I ask him.

“Not at all. It was worth it to get you.”

I look over to Flynn who nods. “I was only there for you. Icouldn’t care less about golf and I never accepted any other playmate’s job applications. Only yours.”

“Well, we’d better ensure we continue with your jobs at home then,” I say as I feel the familiar tingles between my legs.

“I plan to have you tied up in every way you can imagine,” replies Flynn looking heatedly back at me.

“You need to recover first,” Mack says, looking around at us all. “No fucking her tonight or tomorrow. She’s taken enough cock.”

Everyone nods but Tye winks at me. For someone who grew up with a man who lived and would die by his rules, Tye seems to be the opposite. And I love that about him.

“Ok, today has been all kinds of fucked up, who’s down for some movies and chocolate?” asks Rory.

“Oh god, that sounds amazing,” I say with a sigh.

After eating, I settle on the sofa nestled in between Mack and Tye with Rory and Flynn next to them on the sofa. Our sofa, in our home. This is my life now. And I thank my lucky stars it’s come to this. I would take my punishment over and over again if it meant I get to keep these four men. My men.
