I arrange everything on a tray and carry it out.

"My prince, breakfast is served," I say with a grin.

Blue looks at the tray, raising his eyebrows slightly. "It looks interesting. I haven’t eaten anything like this in a while."

"Dig in."

We sit down and start eating. I can tell Blue actually likes it, and that gives me a strange kind of satisfaction as I watch him lift each bite to his mouth with those slender fingers, sliding it between his soft lips.

He notices me staring and tilts his head, his sapphire eyes locking onto my face.

"I didn’t expect you to be able to cook. You’re twenty-one."

"I’m also a student. I couldn’t afford a personal chef or eating out all the time. Making breakfast isn’t a big deal. Though I’ll admit Marlow was better at it, he actually enjoyed cooking, but I still picked up a few useful recipes."

"That’s very nice, because I have to admit, with some embarrassment, that cooking is completely foreign to me."

"I figured."

Blue finishes everything, not leaving a single bite.

"Really delicious," he says with a small smile.

We sit for a while, sipping tea, our eyes drifting toward the bright, open horizon.

I feel a sense of calm, pure relaxation, sitting there with him, enjoying the silence and the scent of the ocean.

"I wonder where we are," Blue says. "I think the yacht drifted a bit while we were asleep…"

"Let’s check." I get up and head to the helm controls.

Sure enough, we’re about one point two four miles away from where we were, but I fix it quickly, starting the engine and setting us back on course..

"Let’s sail along the shoreline," I hear behind me. Blue walks up to me.

I nod. "Sure."

As I steer the yacht along the coastline, Blue says,

"One of my houses is actually not far from here. We can see it from the ocean."

"Maybe you can point it out on this map…" I show him the digital map visible on the helm’s screen.

Blue taps the place and the engine reacts immediately, turning slightly and moving in that direction.

We stare ahead, and soon the coastline reveals itself on the horizon. The yacht moves quickly and quietly.

For a moment we sail along the wide beaches, and soon a group of luxurious mansions sitting on the higher shoreline and small cliffs comes into view.

I know which one belongs to Blue right away, the one perched on a hill, surrounded by lush gardens and a high wall.

"Let me guess, that one is yours. Do you sometimes live there?"

"Not recently, I rent it out."

There’s a bit of silence and I mutter,

"It’s a beautiful place."
